"Spent 3 nights. Super nice room, big bathroom and big balcony. Next to road with traffic, but no problem, easy to jump on the bus to Granada centro (super cheap) and come back. Just leave the car at hotel. Added breakfast, very fair price and friendly staff."

"Lanjaron is a little tired compared to other towns and villages we visited on our trip. Hotel was clean and tidy, new sealant around the bath required, suite brown (probably lovely in its day) but clean. Bed not great, we could feel the springs popping, not comfy and felt old. Decor plain and old fashioned. The outside was well maintained and a good size pool but we didn’t use. We paid for breakfast which was ok. Value for money, compared to other hotels on our trip, not great. "

"Amazing hotel in all respects, one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Peacefully nestled in the hills above Monachil, this 15-bedroom boutique hotel is gorgeous. Amazing rooms, unbelievable breakfast and dinner, nice walks nearby and only 30-min taxi into Granada. Nice pool area. Quiet and relaxing, classy and unpretentious. We loved it. "If you are going to Alhambra the location could not be better. Literally right across the street. But it’s still a very peaceful and quiet area. Staff were exceptionally helpful, and building is in very good shape. For as inexpensive as it is, a great value. Only issue was the AC did not work well at all and had a musty odor, which was an issue on 99 degree afternoons. That was likely an issue that only affected our room, however, as the air doesn’t seem to be central."

"We stayed for 5 nights on half board for a walking holiday. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and, in particular, the swimming pool in the early evening. The reception staff were highly professional and the restaurant staff were friendly. The evening menu only changes once a week which meant some repetition in our actual selections of food."
