Though the property is very near to the old city it is not comfortable to stay on a vacation because the place is very untidy and the capsule is not suitable for resting since you can still here the noise of the other guest also.

The location of this place is perfect, in the middle of old town and interesting part of the northern part of the city. Some minor damages that are not dramatically but e.g. the hooks in the bathrooms should be properly fixed. The service for check in and out was quick and easy. The capsules are made out of plastic and you hear noises from the others. its way better than staying in a usual hostel. You have your privacy within the capsule.

I would not recommend staying here. This place does not seem safe. The gate is broken, you do not have to walk by a front desk to get to the rooms or bathrooms which are unlocked, and even if you did the front desk worker was asleep. If you are on a budget Iā€™d suggest spending a little more and going somewhere at least on safer side

No early morning help.

No warning that there would be no one to check us in early in the morning. The entire facilty was unlocked. Our key was on the front desk with no instructions about anything. Otherwise, it was as advertised.

hello travelers. Do not stay in this place, it is dirty, very dirty, the staff is indifferent, they do not care about the guests, there was a sick guy coughing all night, they did not care and they preferred to take the risk of infecting others. Dirty bathrooms, garbage in the middle of the capsules, the power went out 3 times, places like these should not be allowed by the government, for your sake add a couple of dollars and find another place. I give you my word from traveler to traveler. No good place.

It is not a property that seals the outdoors out. I got bitten by several mosquitos and the wifi was on and off the whole tome I was there. The capsules are a cool concept, but here they are poor executed. It gets super hot and is just a bad experience all around. The staff are lovely, but I would advise against staying here

Awful stay

Very bad experience. The facility is very dirty and old, no one in the reception ever, no locker for backpacks, the matress was maybe 3cm tall (we slept 3hours during the all night) and, in the room of the capsule there was a very big rat. Really awful experience, the worst of my life, during our trip! We had a 3 days stay but we left after one. Still waiting for the refund of the last night.

Ok but could be a lot better.

This hostel is ok but good be a lot better. The location is good for the transport system and visiting the old town. Nice alley way /court yard. The capsule's give you a bit of privacy and have aircon with built in lights and USB charging. Pellows are very soft. Not the cleanest of bedding.The lighting in the dorm where the capsule are is very dim Very annoying to try and sort your stuf out. The kitchen is not a kitchen, you won't be able to cook. A kettle, fridge and microwave with a sink. The showers are very hot with good pressure. Its ok to stay here for a night or 2 but wouldn't recommend a long stay.

Big mistake

First of all the address at hotel.com is WRONG and the owner knew that!!! IT IS NOT NEAR to Jafa gate! Actually the only reason I have visit this hostel was the spot near to Jafa gate, which wasn't real. I slept one night in double capsule, the idea of capsule was ok but my capsule was in BAD condition with some broken plastic parts, no lock, no wi-fi connection and television with no signal. The Hostel facilities was dirty.

Read Before Booking

The location is perfect and the communication was good and employees are nice. Unfortunately, the pros stop there. The capsules are made out of cheap plastic you could cut with a box cutter. They're flimsy and thin. And they don't lock. There are key cards but all you need to do is push in lightly on the door and slide it open. We always inspect the mattress when we stay at a hotel/hostel/B&B and when we looked under this mattress it was very dirty. We made up an excuse to leave and booked a different hotel. The other poor reviews on Google aren't lying.

Amazing, thank you very much!

This is a great place to stay. The location is fantastic, as it is directly opposite the New Gate entrance to the Old City, right on Jaffa Street, a quick walk to the literail. Toni is a very friendly and conscientious host who is quick to respond to every inquiry, whether by text, phone or in person. He is eager to help make one's stay the best it can possibly be and is open to hearing suggestions on what can make the hotel even better. The 'capsules' are amazing. They are spacious and very comfortable. I loved the bed; It was firm but not hard, and I had a terrific sleep. They are well lit, have a television in them and lots of room to arrange my belongings. The price was right! Well below a standard hotel and competitive with hostels. I prefer the 'capsules' because I have my own place, Then, there is a small sitting area and bar area where one can meet others if one so chooses. Thighly recommend Toni Ran's place and invite you to consider it when. in Jerusalem.
