Nice Place to Stay

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was tidy and spacious. It was a little bit noisy at night but that is to be expected due to the location. Good 3 star hotel. Id stay there again.

The location very good with most of places to eat, including a Mc Donald’s, very convenient for kids Parking available with cost but that’s rare, so it’s a plus. We had two connected rooms great for family travelers. The hotel in general is good, rooms are small but with everything you need even a fridge. The breakfast buffet has wide variety. The main elevator was broken and the service elevator and area were not as neat as you would like. Rooms were clean but just didn’t feel super clean. The dinning room has a very strong not nice smell. Staff were all very nice.

Great location, walking distance from light rail, Old City, restaurants and shops. Large room and Bathroom, comfortable bed and clean. Good breakfast. Building is old but excellent value. I would stay there on my next vis

Good value

The hotel is a good choice when it comes to the quality-price ratio. The rooms are nice though they can afford some tweaks. the location is good and is less than 15 minutes walk to the Old Town.

Had a really good stay there. All went well. The only problem was finding the place. Took over an hour driving around using Waze. Expedia lists the address as Darom 6, instead of Shammai. And couldn't see any sign. Finally, after asking several bystanders we located it. Need to make a big visible sign that one can see while driving to the site and update your listing on Expedia.

I did not like anything about this property. It was noisy until very late at night and it was noisy very early in the morning. It was not clean! We had bugs in our room. I had to switch the room in the middle of the night. The AC was not working. The Coffee machine in the lobby was not clean as well as the cookies jars.

The recepitonist told us that we were in the wrong hotel saying that there are two hotels with a similar name. She couldn't give further instructions. So we had to take the car again, drive away and when I called the number I had on the booking, she realized that it was us and confirmed that she made a mistake and that the hotel was correct as well as the booking. We had to drive back. The description of the hotel says that there was a parking place avaiable at an additional fee. She sent to a parking space nearby. There was no special fee for the guests of this hotel and the price was otrageous.

Les fenêtres n'ont jamais été nettoyées, le lit était bizarrement froissé, le carrelage de la salle de bains tout blanc avec des taches indélébiles toutes noires et le personnel est venu frapper à ma porte à 7h45 du matin puis une heure après le technicien a ouvert la porte sans frapper, n'importe qui aurait donc pu me voler n'importe quoi, c'est vraiment inadmissible, imaginez ce qui se serait passé si je n'étais pas à l'entrée de la chambre à ce moment là !

מאכזב מאוד

תחילה קיבלנו חדר עם ריח חזק של טחב ( למען ההגינות נציין ששידרגו אותנו לסוויטה). לאחר שהתלוננו החליפו לנו חדר שהיה מלוכלך, רצפת השירותים היתה מלאה בקליפות גרעינים, האסלה והכיור מלוכלכים וגם לאחר שהערנו על כך בקבלה והבטיחו לנקות, כשחזרנו בלילה לחדר .גילינו שאף אחד לא הגיע לנקות. בנוסף, המלון רועש מרגיש כאילו אין חלונות ובידוד ו"זכינו" להתעורר לקול עבודות בנייה ממש על החדר. לצערי, על אף המיקום המעולה של המלון והפוטנציאל הגבוה של המקום (חדרים חדשים) חבל שזו רמת השירות והתחזוקה של המלון. אנחנו לא נחזור שוב למלון.

The hotel could be a very nice one, but it's lacking attention to cleanliness and order. It is perfectly located within 10 min walking distance to Jaffa Gates of the old city. The rooms are large, but the furniture is a bit outdated. You can tell that the bathrooms were renovated not too long ago, but the condition (falling out door handles, dirty calking, etc) and cleanliness are far from ideal. The breakfast was limited, but ok. Do not even try their scramble eggs, they are not edible. The furniture in the breakfast room has seen it's better days. The service is non existent with a couple of guys starring at their phones all the time. Also, we had two very rainy days in Jerusalem and the hotel's stairwell was flooded. So, for two days we had to walk on water to get to our breakfast. The reception guys were nice, but not very helpful. They could not help us booking a tunnel tour and we complained about the broken bathroom door handle for 3 days in a row just to have it still falling out of the bathroom door on the morning of our departure.

Great location with helpful staff. Hotel needed to be updated. It was raining during our time and it rained into the stairways and the carpet was wet! Noisy, maybe because of the hostil next door. Breakfast was not at all like the pictures show!!
