Montpellier is such a lively city, and we could still experience it through the open windows even after returning home each evening. "This property is NOT as advertised. 30min before check in we received an email stating that the apartment did not come with towels or bed linen and that we had to do our own cleaning before departure. None of this was stated on our booking. The host was completely unaccommodating and rude. When we arrived the apartment was filthy. It had not been cleaned since the last guest. Floors were dirty, dishes in the sink, food on the coffee table, towel left behind chair, stains all over the mattress...

"We had a wonderful stay in Montpellier. We greatly enjoyed the view of the cathedral from the apartment window and hearing the bells. The kitchen was smaller than we prefer but the apartment is well located for walking to many sights, restaurants, cafes and more. We had no trouble with climbing the stairs to the top floor and, overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We had easy communication with the host prior to our stay, and we will definitely return to Montpellier. Thank you!!"

"Easy to get around the centre ville. Accommodation was pretty much as described. Multitudinous confusion with communications (undelivered texts & emails; not sure how or where the breakdown occurred) checking in and unavailable wifi. The owners and host/representative were very nice once we connected, but very stressful arrival. "

"The apartment is nice for maximum 2 people. The girl in charge doesn't speak English and it's very laid back, so make sure she understands the agreement about your arrival and your leave. The neighborhood can be a little sketchy after 9 pm and the entrance of the building is quite nasty because people smoke and leave trash."
