"Wonderful place for rest and beauty. Near a wild life refuge and located between water and prairie. Mike was incredibly helpful and friendly and even hauled the kayaks for our personal use. We will be back. Bunkhouse is a studio. But adequate for two people. It is set up very comfortably and quaintly. And the views are wonderful. Easy drive into town where there are restaurants and grocery stores."

"Small but cozy hotel. I was able to park right in front of my room making loading and unloading easy. Dog friendly hotel with ample space to walk your dog. I had a little trouble with my TV, the owner was quick to respond to my problem. I would diffenitly recommend this place to travelers looking for a convenient place to stay while hunting with dogs."

The Bunkhouse is small, cute cowboy & horse themed house with a great view of the lake, countryside and night sky! I loved the shower, kinda spa like! I love the covered clock roadway! "This was the perfect spot to meet up with friends for a weekend away. It was spacious inside, with plenty of room for kids to play and everyone to sleep comfortably. We loved the remote location. The kids enjoyed running around outside and seeing the deer in the field in the evenings. We will definitely consider coming back for another weekend get away with our friends in the future! "
