"This is a wonderful house in an idyllic, quiet setting. The views are stunning and it's lovely to watch the birds, inc. vultures and eagles, soaring around the valley in front of you. The house has everything you need. Comfy beds, good showers and great air-conditioning. The pool area is perfect for relaxing and having a barbecue and the gardens are just lovely. It's like holidaying in the Hollywood Hills !! There's loads of places to visit nearby and we also did day trips to Ronda and Gibraltar. Can highly recommend this house for the perfect holiday. "

"We had a lovely 10 day stay at Duncan’s cottage. The kids loved it. The pool is perfect; it was too hot to do much else. The little town nearby is great with all the shops and restaurants you’ll need. The cottage itself is great and has everything you need and Duncan is a perfect host. "

"We returned to Jimena some 40 years after our last visit. Amazing that the village has barely changed. The property is spectacular and situated on the prettiest street in town and only a short walk from the main square and restaurants. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The plunge pool was ideal for cooling down, in what was a very hot week in Andalusia. Jimena is an ideal location for exploring the surrounding areas. Would love to return in a cooler season to do some hiking in the surrounding beautiful hills. The owner was very helpful as was Belen, who looks after the house. Thanks for a wonderful holiday."
