"Beds are very comfortable!"

"Staff were rude on arrival. I tried to check-in twice. First time, I kept getting interrupted by other guests trying to get their luggage and the staff kept catering towards them instead of asking them to wait their turn. I was then asked to step aside and the staff proceeded to finish with a guest that interrupted. The staff then forgot I was there and helped a guest that was behind me. When it was finally my turn, he was about to help another person who was behind me (after being asked by someone who appeared to be a tour staff) but the person behind me said to help me first. During check-in, he didn’t explain anything to me and just handed me the hotel information card. That’s not all. They only had one elevator that barely fit 2 ppl with 2 luggage. The hallway was dark. The room had a weird smell. The room was so small, you couldn’t open the fridge door completely. The AC was loud and dusty. The bed was stiff, and squeaky. I felt so uncomfortable, I left and booked elsewhere. If you choose to stay here, be wary."

"This hotel embodied Japanese hospitality to a tee. The staff are just wonderful, I wish we could take them home!! Room was very comfortable- best beds we’ve slept on the entire trip. We had an earthquake during our stay and the staff were professional and very well rehearsed. Buffet breakfast was good too. Can’t recommend high enough!"

"Everything was clean and comfortable. Only issue is the elevator congestion in the morning. Otherwise a great place to stay in the heart of Shinjuku if you enjoy the nightlife."

"Ac was the same as it was across all of Japan. It wasnt cold but it wasnt hot. They had a dyson bladless fan in the room if you needed air movement. My last day i reserved a cab and the staff at the front desk was very helpful in informing me that i could check out and wait for my cab in the lobby so that i wouldnt miss the cab driver when he came to check with the front desk for my availability. Over all this is a fantastic hotel also you can get all the way to shinjuku train station underground/under roads (to avoid the rain) from this hotel. I will mention for those who are traveling to Japan for the first time from America. The room which was a single bed was just a little wider than the bed was so it can be tight for larger luggage but i had two 28" tall checked roller bags and a massive back pack with me and still felt like i was able to get around within the room ok. If i had shared the room with another person with their luggage i would say a twin bed room might have been a wise choice. The location of this hotel with its proximity to the train station (3 blocks or so, probably a half mile makes it great for tokyo tourism especially if you have a rail pass and can jump the trains whenever youd like to go see more of tokyo. "

"Clean room Great staff Buffet was amazing"

"This was the best hotel out of 5 hotels we stayed at on our 15 day trip to Japan. The room was the cleanest I ever seen in a hotel. The hotel had great amenities including coin laundry and toiletries such as face wash, lotion and even cleaning oil! An a 7/11 right in the basement! Room was so spacious for our family of 4. And the biggest bonus was the massage chair on our room. Great massage after a long day walking! Definitely stay there again on our next Tokyo trip! "
