"Fantastic location that is so convenient for touring, dining, shopping all close by. Rooms were well sized and clean. The breakfast was great with lots of nice choices in self-service buffet. The hotel rooms could use some updating as they are a bit outdated (decor wise), and a tad worn but overall the location makes this a great choice. Would have appreciated a water station but the hotel gives water bottles and toiletries each day which was appreciated. "

"I had a great experience staying at Solaria Kyoto. The room was noticeably larger compared to other hotels, which made the stay much more comfortable and relaxing. One of the best parts of this hotel is its location—right next to the river. It was amazing being able to walk along the water, see people out enjoying their day, and take in the cherry blossoms lining the area. It really added a special touch to the whole trip. The staff was also awesome—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Overall, it was a great experience staying here, and I would definitely recommend it."

"This is a very nice boutique hotel with great service and nice facilities, but the best thing about it is the location in Gion district. You are just steps away from the busy streets and alleys full of shops and restaurants, but the hotel is very quiet. Staff is friendly and attentive. Walk to temples or to shops with ease. Breakfast is an awesome buffet of western and Japanese cuisine. Highly recommended."
