This romantic luxury home gives you refuge from the outside world, employing farmhouse elements with a French flair. The moment you enter you will begin to relax. Light, bright and airy, it is stylish and graceful yet informal and welcoming. Two storeys offer 4 bedrooms, a gorgeous kitchen and fantastic entertainment areas. We have styled with care, serviced with love and prepared everything you need to make your stay an absolute pleasure.

As you enter our double volumed sun filled home the space looks endless.... A chef's delight farmhouse kitchen leads out to the enchanting garden and infinity pool completing your welcome to our spectacular home. The undercover patio is ideal for enjoying breakfasts, brunches, lunches or barbecues with the sparkling pool below - sit back, relax and watch the sun set sipping your favourite cocktail!
Four spacious bedrooms are elegantly furnished to ensure the utmost comfort and convenience, each with their own en-suite fully equipped bathroom. There are three wood burning fire places to warm up cold nights. Three separate, enormous living areas offer ample space to relax or watch TV and a private study is available for work. Fast wireless fibre is available throughout the home. There is secure off street parking for 6 cars. And to complete your ideal retreat our home borders a green belt offering complete privacy, relaxing walks or quiet meditation.

Situated in a 24 hour security patrolled neighbourhood. Perfect for groups or families of 8+.

There is a full-time housekeeper available to take care of your needs to make your stay a memorable one.

Johannesburg enjoys outstanding weather, warm days throughout the year. Winter nights can get quite chilly and we get the most spectacular summer thunderstorms.
For summer visitors we recommend packing hats and sunblock, sandals and walking shoes, swimming costumes and a light sweater or jacket for the evenings.
During winter months the nights are chilly and we would recommend cozy pyjamas, slippers and a warm jersey or jacket for outings.

Homely environment, spacious,clean and provided all we needed for our holiday .The house was safe and a convenient location for all locations we needed eg shops , restaurants access to motorway.Precious was very helpful especially when she helped coordinate the bbq or braai for family gathering.The host Candice was reachable when ever we needed contact. Beautiful place with large garden for kids to run around .Did not need an alarm as every morning they were birds chipping in the garden to invite one to day light.Memorable and will definitely recommend.

Excellent Residence

The property was very clean and in excellent condition. The kids (and adults) enjoyed the pool and open areas in the house and outside yard. It was ideal for a family of seven. Precious, the house servant, was made available for us, and she proved to be professional in her duties as well as in her interpersonal skills. Finally, the communications with MS Vorster made our arrival and transition very easy. Thanks for the excellent wine, chocolate candy, and biscottis which made us feel right at home!

Absolutely Amazing place to stay

We stayed over the Christmas period and were lucky not to experience any of the dreaded load shedding. The property was fantastic, clean and welcoming in ever aspect. Plenty of space is available both inside and out. The Patio is the place to be here which overlooks a pool and well maintained garden. Precious who lives on the property grounds and manages your stay is simply amazing. She keeps you updated on anything happening in the area, makes sure the house is armed and locked at night and is happy to assist you in anyway. The location is great, close to all amenities that you will need during your stay. We would highly recommend this property if you're looking to stay in Johannesbury.

Home is accurately listed, but a few details need to be added

Perhaps a lot of this is due to cultural differences, but seeing as many are travelling here from elsewhere, they are worth noting. There is a caretaker who lives on site & is lovely. However my orientation with her explained that she would do all the dishes (I said we could go our own & she insisted saying that’s her job - please leave the dishes). She lives in a side building and would be around & to use WhatsApp to contact her if we needed anything. So, firstly we had unusually cold/rainy weather during our stay & I asked if there was more logs for the fire as we were cold she said she’d check the other house as ours had none. I never heard back. The next day we were told in the afternoon that the power would be out from 8pm-12 for load sharing and she left out 4 flashlights. We had 12 people staying in the house. There were about 5 candles we could find but only one match. I messaged her again for matches and never heard back. One of our guests had a lighter so we figured it out. When the power came back on (at midnight) it set the alarm off & I was given no instructions on how to turn it off. So I had to WhatsApp her to ask - she gave me a code which silenced it for 10 seconds then it blared again ... went on for about 20 minutes (waking up the whole house until @ 1am). She finally had to de-arm it. And it appears it remained unarmed for our next two days. Also, We were given each one bath towel & one wash cloth. I asked for more towels but she only put out 4 pool towels on the last day. Our last two days she did no dishes, we had family pop by and had run out of dishes/cutlery - there’s only enough for 10. She knew we had 12 staying and a family of 10 coming for dinner. It would have been easier to do ourselves than to expect her to do them only to wake in the morning to a pile of dishes - sane with breakfast dishes. Overall it was a good space , but needs more attention to details like spare towels, extra rolls of toilet paper (ran out of that also), instructions on how to buzz people into the gate, if there’s a power loading happening, extra firewood & matches & candles. Also full stocked kitchen ....there were adequate pots/pans but short (@ 10) on cutlery/dishes/coffee mugs & about 4 pantry items (expired soy sauce & dry mustard, salt & pepper). It would be lovely for an evening arrival to have cream, loaf of bread at the least to get you going in the morning - to warrant the price/ quality she is advertising.

PERFECT VACATION HOME FOR FRIENDS / FAMILY. CONVENIENTLY LOCATED.

We traveled from the United States and were well accommodated in this beautiful home that had everything we needed. It was a very comfortable stay! Plenty of rooms and plenty of room. Even enjoyed the pool and the outside patio in the mornings. Home is very elegant! Access to mall(s) restaurants etc. Wished could have stayed longer! Perfect from family / friends. It is surely a place that I will utilize again when I / we are back in the country! Thank you!

Paradise on earth

What a place, waking up to the sound of birds and river flowing every morning, first thing you see through the majestic windows is just green, beautiful trees, plants, flowers.So spacious inside, decorated so tastefully and so clean. This home is truly impressive and very secure. We felt safe and the facilities were second to none. Precious met us and showed us the ropes - she was always available to assist and the house was kept immaculate even with 7 of us staying there.
