"This Hondo house is great for a family visit and to stay and visit the area. It is close to downtown, yet, it is quiet and enjoyable for down family time. The owners are very kind and quick to rectify any problem. (coffee pot quickly replaced) This is our second visit and I am sure we will bevisiting Hondo next year for our "Ladies Get-together"..."

"This is a beautiful and newly built cabin on a horse farm. It is so beautifully decorated and was perfect for our stay in Hendersonville. We would definitely chose to stay there again on our next visit! "

"Went with some friends and our kids to spend a weekend in mountains. Kids had so much fun they never wanted to leave the house. Exellent location to many nearby attractions with convient grocery and food options. House had plenty of seating for the group and the outdoor deck was great for relaxing once kids went to bed. Two fridges made keeping food and drinks cold easy and kitchen was well apointed with everything needed to cook and eat. Looks to be a fresh new rental (could still smell paint fumes as it seemed like they were adding some nice touches). The decor and vibe was great however quality of furniture games was low and i dont expect them to live up to the constant churning of guest. Mattresses were very comfy with plenty of pillows but bedframes seem like they wont last. Hot tub was a hit with the kids but was not clean enough for any adults to get in (needs to be shocked). While location was great it is not secluded as you could throw a rock and hit two neighboring houses."

"We were in town for a work event. The house was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Check-in and check-out was easy, The house was equipped with everything we needed, and Debbie was responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again - thank you!"

"My husband and I stayed here for 45 days after both our mothers passed two months apart. We needed down time and that is what we found here. It is an older updated well maintained cabin complete with squeaking floors that adds to the charm. The front porch was perfect to sit and watch the ducks chase each other. The side screened in porch was perfect to eat meals outside or sit and enjoy the view in the rain. All appliances worked well. We had no issues. The water stays hot for long showers. The beds are comfortable. The owner communicated well and kept us informed but were mot bothersome. More like a quick text to see if we needed anything or someone is coming the grass Monday at 10. - they won’t bother you and you don’t have to be there. She was very accommodating and informative. She did offer use of her cleaner while we were there and let us know just to call when we wanted trash pick up so no one would bother us unnecessarily. My Dad who is local would come over and him and my husband spent a good bit of the fishing from the bank and took the boat out a few times. They caught quite a few fish. The property is about 3 acres or so. The lake takes up the majority.The location was a bit of surprise. Although the property is located off a rather busy road and about two blocks from another, the sound is quite muffled and you couldn’t really hear the cars unless you were paying attention or a random loud vehicle passed by and you could not hear them at all inside. "
