"We arrived the afternoon checkin was easy and the young lady that checked us in was super friendly and polite. Upon arriving in the room, we noticed that there was no security latch on the inside door and the door handle was missing items . The shower had patch work and their was a Distinct odor of urine in the room me and I guess had to use an air freshener to make the room smell better.Later that evening we asked another staff member for additional blanket or sheets and was told in a rude tone “ we don’t have any additional blankets or sheets to give you we gave them all out have a good night. . Me and my guest were taken a back by her Demeanor, but just decided to return back to our room and fall asleep as we knew daylight will come quickly. In the morning were greeted by a much more pleasant person who wished us safe travels and to get home safely. Overall the stay wasn’t a bad one, but highly doubt if I’ll return."

"Stayed 3 nights for son's graduation at Coastal Carolina University. It's very close to campus. We have stayed here numerous times over the last 4 years. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Rooms are always clean. Beds are either 1 king or 2 queen, which is great, since many hotels only have doubles. Breakfast is included, but I don't prefer their hot food, so my husband just grabs a coffee. The Coastal Ale House is across the parking lot. Great food. Some things in the bathroom could use an upgrade, but not enough to not stay there. If you want fancy, go somewhere else. If you want a clean room and great price, this place is perfect. "
