"The house was clean, inviting, and even more beautiful in person. We stayed Saturday through Tuesday and found the location quiet and convenient. Landscaping crews came briefly Monday morning at 6:30 a.m., but otherwise the area was peaceful. Many local businesses are closed or have limited hours on Sunday and Monday, so dinner options were a bit limited. We traveled with our small dog, and the area was great for walks. It felt very pet‑friendly and easy to manage. The kitchenette was cute and cozy, with a Keurig, coffee pods, creamer, bottled water, plates, plasticware, and Styrofoam cups. The fridge is small but has an attached freezer. I didn’t find paper towels, even though they were listed as an amenity. Both bedrooms were nicely decorated and larger than expected. The bed was decent and had plenty of pillows. The bathroom is small but well laid out. The only downside was the shower with lukewarm water (even when turned all the way to hot), low water pressure, and an overhead shower head.WiFi worked well, and the linens, towels, hair dryer, and ironing supplies were all provided. There were several sample toiletries, though I didn’t care for the scent. The listing mentions being across from HGTV’s Bird Dog Café, but it has been closed for almost two years. Still, it was fun being near a home Erin and Ben remodeled.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable and welcomed. The home was thoughtfully prepared, and we would happily stay again."
