"Cape Girardeau is about the halfway point for us (Wisconsin) and friends from Mississippi. This VRBO is ideally located within walking distance to plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. Property is very clean, has the basics and communication with the owner was super easy. The saloon-style doors for the downstairs bathroom were a little unexpected, but we made it work. We enjoyed our stay and would recommended this property for a long weekend."

"Host had the cabin very clean. New leather couch & recliner. Mattress was extremely comfortable. Washer & Dryer were excellent. Another Rental house near, long-term renters were very quiet. Internet not very good in the Illinois woods. Closed cabin has a musty smell from humidity in the woods. Host had an automatic air freshener going to help with air quality."

"I cannot say enough how wonderful our stay was at Oak Manor. We stayed here for our daughter’s law school graduation and we had 15 family and friends join us. The house was exceptional. So clean and comfortable. We cooked all of our meals together and grilled out on the terrace. The property grounds are wonderful and we spent many hours on the terrace enjoying the views and comfy patio furniture. "Stayed with a group of friends for a wedding nearby. Property was clean and accurate to the online listing. Wish the weather would have been nice enough to use the pool space! Check in and out were smooth processes and communication with the property manager was super easy. Would recommend."

"We were traveling in for our daughter’s college graduation and found this rental to be ideal! The host has the home decorated nicely to make you feel at home. The home is supplied with anything and everything you would need for your stay. Having the fenced in backyard was perfect for our pup to run and the neighborhood is fairly quiet. Thank you!"

"The listing led us to believe that this was a secluded cabin, when it was really next to their other available cabin. There wasn't anything noted on the rental info that identified between the two cabins. We ended up walking around to the doors of the wrong cabin. There were very few towels available considering ones necessary for the hot tub. Other than that, and the eclectic dish and cup selection, it was quite peaceful and it did feel very private even with people in the neighboring cabin....
