Clinch Mountain Reserve Cabin #2. Cabin retreat near charming Rogersville, TN.

"As a busy family living in the city, we tend to look for vacation escapes that feel like we are alone with nature and this cabin was the perfect place for us to relax, unwind and feel like we “owned” a chunk of peace and quiet for a few days.While it is out of the way and secluded, the hosts make sure you have everything you need for your stay and the cabin is one of the best equipped properties we have stayed at (pretty sure if it was missing anything the host Brian would have been happy to help us get it). During our stay, we were the only ones there, so we spent time fishing at the pond where we all caught plenty of bluegill and bass which my son loved. After we grilled burgers on the porch or used the oven to make homemade pizzas. We did have ants one night, but Brian quickly remedied it in the more (it’s a cabin in the woods so we expected some bugs). It had also rained a lot so was a little muddier than usual but they had a hose to wash shoes and a boot scrubber. We didn’t bring any of our dogs this time, but 2 of the cabins are dog friendly, so we hope to come back with one of our pups cause we know they would love to run the property. Brian encouraged us to enjoy and act like it was our home which was exactly what we needed especially since we have a small boy and a ton of rules is not fun for him.There are no grocery stores nearby so remember to pick up groceries before and I promise you won’t be disappointed! Can’t wait to go back!"

"The entire place was so quaint. The place was first class. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I saw 2 other rooms beside the one I stayed in. Extremely large rooms. Seating areas with chairs to watch large TV. Bed was very comfortable. The menu had a variety of choices. The bar was very cozy."

"Our favorite thing to do when traveling is to find off the beaten path places. This property was even better than the listing. It was awesome. We were impressed by all of the artistic elements in the decor both inside and out. It was so comfortable and welcoming. The oasis kept your attention discovering all of the unique fun decor as you went room to room or while you just sat relaxing. It boasted everything you could want and more whether for a couple or for a family vacation. We enjoyed the outdoor space with its pool, hot tub and comfortable seating areas. Sitting around the fire pit will definitely be a favorite memory for us. We are looking forward to another visit for sure."
