Hotel stay

It is a great hotel and just the perfect location for visiting the city and its area. We found a parking not so far away from the hotel that cost a lot less and still was convenient. The room was pretty clean and the receptionist was kind and welcoming.

The hotel offers generous eating options (for teatime, for dinner and for breakfast!): very tasty and welcome with Swedish restaurants being so expensive in general. I would not recommend a visit to Jonkoping if you are traveling by train or bus (you need a car to take advantage of the natural beauty around the town, which is not that exciting by itself).

Stay was good. Just small issues with light besides the bed not working and small leakage in the bathroom sink at was reported in my check out. Place for meals is quite small, so even booking a time for breakfast and dinner it was a bit hard to find a place to sit. I had to ask for cofee in the morning and food at dinner to be refilled. Besides that room is clean, staff is very helpful and location is great.

This was a fantastic deal. The free light dinner was actually a very nice buffet. With breakfast and dinner included this was our most affordable night in all of Sweden. The town itself was very walkable but the only place in Sweden we didn’t feel safe. A women came out of the hostel near the waterfront and was viciously yelling at us but we didn’t understand her and thankfully she was on the other side of a fence. Lots of great walking paths. We were lucky parking was free on the weekends.

Home Hotel Victoria ist ein super Hotel, welches den Charme der 1920 glaubhaft transportiert. Vom Zimmer, über den Empfang, das inkludierte Essen bis hin zur Garage (es ist zu empfehlen diese vorzubuchen) hat alles super zusammen gepasst. Auch die Kommunikation vor der Anreise war nett und informativ. Ein Lob an alle, danke.

Bra läge i stan, nära restauranger och parkeringshus. Jättemysig restaurang på "innegården" där det serverades en varm rätt med salladsbuffe till middag som ingick i hotellpriset. Jättegod frukost, bra och brett utbud! Fanns gym och bastu, ett plus!

Åh så vi trivdes. Från det att vi klev innanför dörren till det att vi åkte ur garaget. Så vänligt, så trevligt och vi kände oss så välkomna. Fint enkelt rum med det vi kunde önska. God middag som bonus- verkligen positiv bonus. Stor frukost med bra sortiment. Önskar dock att personalen kunde varit mer proaktiv att fylla på faten. De kändes nya o förvirrade men - det hade vi överseende med. Vi vwr så nöjda med allt.

Allt var väldigt bra förutom kaoset vid frukosten. Hade fungerat bättre ifall de organiserat två köer till pålägg och det varma. Fil och flingor kan stå vid ett sidobord istället. Då blir det bättre flöde.
