"Such an incredible little hotel - a highlight of our trip to Portugal. Excellent location right in the heart of the historical center, with easy parking in the public parking garage a couple blocks away. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and breakfast was fantastic. The hotel itself is gorgeous - a wonderful blend of modern upgrades and nods to the historic building. So many thoughtful touches and details, we’d return to Tomar just to stay in this hotel! "

Breakfast is made to order (pre-ordered) every morning and is excellent. Staff is attentive and accomodating, we found our room made up while we were at breakfast. A really special detail. "

"This place is spacious and spotlessly clean. The owner is on site so she is always available should you need her, but everything you need is there and explained when we checked in. The outdoor area looks out over the rest of the property including gardens, grapevines, swimming pool, and the surrounding countryside. So serene! You definitely need a car to get around. It takes a little over 10 minutes to drive to a restaurant or supermarket. Do not miss the castle ! One of the best I have ever seen."
