"Really noisy, the neighborhood is really ugly"

"I think this was not for us the breakfast was great and varied but the hotel tries hard to be trendy when for us it would be great to have a good nice sleep and be able to hang your clothes . We got awaken twice during the night when the TV came on for no reason apparently due to a fault in the area but the same thing happened when we stayed 5 days prior . The hotel is very dark and as I said you get lavender oil and sleeping pills but no room to store your cases or hang your clothes . The food in the Vietnamese restaurant is average . Go to the pool for lunch if you want to eat well . We asked if we could keep one of the room we had booked until our late departure 4 pm but despite the inconvenience we had during the night they said no which is fine .we told them we would go to the pool and the replied that was no problem . Unfortunately when we got there it was the cleaning day. Anyway our daughter liked the place so could be more suited to a younger crowd "

"I’ve stayed at several locations in Medellin but i have to say I wasn't impressed with WakeBio. To start off we arrived 3 hours early (3pm check-in) and was going to be charged close to $300 and after expressing my view on that it was reduced to about $250. Never have I ever been charged early check-in anywhere in the world. I have been to many places and if the room is available they get you into your room and if its not then we wait until a room is ready and available but never charged. The restaurant staff was not very pleasant to say the least. Not all but most. It didnt feel welcoming almost as if we were just another client or a bother. Some of the staff understood the importance of a smile and a welcome gesture, not a stare and walk away. Several times we had to help ourselves to things since there was no attention to detail to see if we needed anything (i.e. could i get you more coffee, can i get anything for you, etc). The spread Selection for breakfast was limited as well. One VERY IMPORTANT thing for anyone with very young kids. We stayed in the elite room which is a three bedroom on the 15th floor. The terrace is EXTREMELY dangerous for anyone with very young kids meaning five and under. The glass and metal enclosure has a wide enough opening on each end where a curious toddler can squeeze his way through and ultimately off the building. We placed heavy chairs as barricades with direct supervision and still didnt feel comfortable out there. Hope this helps!"

"All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was lovely. And Mr. Adolpho, if you ever encounter him you can tell he loves what he does! He is an absolute delight! Will definitely stay there again! The view from the room and the rooftop pools are beautiful. It is in a lovely area! Enjoyed everything about it! "

"We stayed in the Junior suite and had an amazing experience. Great layout with 2 balconies and a separate living room area for tv. Staff were extremely kind and always offered help where needed. For example, one day there was heavy rain when we were headed out to dinner and the front desk offered us an umbrella to borrow no questions asked! The restaurants on the lower first floor were excellent (Brayan and Sebastián were very friendly) and rooftop vibe was amazing at night with great music. We loved how tucked away this property was from all the Poblado/Provenza craziness but still close enough to walk. Will definitely stay again someday and recommend to friends."
