Anderson, the front desk employee, who also claimed to be the owner, wasnât understanding about the situation and no help in resolving it either. Luckily, I have family in the country familiar with the city of Leticia, they put me in touch with a local travel agent...
"The property did not have electricity. And when I booked it that detail wasnât in the description of the cabin , I had a very bad trip because of that , at least should say no WiFi no electricity, I took my kids and was very very horrible and disappointed ! "
"it is a holyday resort at the edge on the Amazon jungle. keeping in mind this, the resort is spectacular. within the resort there are clean wooden boardwalks and which goes then into silty jungle paths. there are good daytrips available. what you can't expect is hot water in the shower.
the 90minute transport from the airport to the resort is well organized and pretty picturesque.

"The place was very clean, and the staff (Alvaro and his son were really warm and welcoming We had steak, sausage, rice and French Fries by a bonfire at night. We were in a clear bubble where we had a beautiful view at night of the forest and sky. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic too. But once again, the cleanliness was amazing. A white sink, toilet, etc in the middle of the jungle in pristine condition, wow. Just a great environment and a chance to actually relax because we were taken...

I reported the location fraud to the local tourism agency, they promised to follow up to get hotel to report correct address. Iâm reporting this incident to prevent other travelers from being misled."
