-Outdoor Amenities-

The large backyard is fully fenced. Soak in the hot tub, gather around the fire pit or swing in the hammocks, and grill on the BBQ for dinner at the outdoor dining table. Sun loungers, an outdoor shower and a bus mural art piece round out the space.



-Living Area-

The modern interior has high ceilings, an indoor fireplace and several cozy seating areas. The smart TV is ready for your Hulu, YouTube or Netflix accounts. The game room has a pool table, ping pong and Connect 4 for some friendly competition.



-Kitchen and Dining-

The fully stocked kitchen has a refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher and the basics, including pots, pans, plates, cups and utensils. A drip coffee maker is provided.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

No Vacancy has three bedrooms and two modern bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has a king bed, and bedrooms 2 and 3 each have a queen bed. A rollaway bed can be provided for an extra sleeping spot.



-Surrounding Area-

Joshua Tree National Park and downtown Joshua Tree are the easy outings from No Vacancy, with clear skies for stargazing, desert flora and the local art scene all around.



Guest Access:

The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that a few supply closets stay locked to store rental supplies.



A keypad at the front door provides keyless entry; your personal entry code will be sent 3 days before arrival.



The Neighborhood:

No Vacancy is in a quiet, noise-sensitive residential neighborhood of Joshua Tree, a short drive from downtown and the national park.



Getting Around:

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



The drive is simple: the road to the house is flat and paved the whole way, with no dirt roads. Guests can park up to 4 cars in the driveway outside the garage.



Other Things to Note:

-This Is Not a Party House-

This property is meant to be a peaceful place to connect with nature. Parties and large gatherings are prohibited; please do not book if you are planning to party. Quiet hours are 9pm to 8am, and the house is in a quiet, noise-sensitive neighborhood. Per the Joshua Tree noise ordinance, sound must be kept below 55 dB during the day (about the level of normal conversation) and below 45 dB between 9pm and 8am (about the level of a quiet office). We do not allow music on speakers after 9pm. Excess noise can result in fines and the termination of your reservation without refund.



-Hot Tub Rules-

Please rinse off any oils, lotions or other substances before entering the hot tub, as they affect water quality. No drinking in the hot tub, please. Keep the cover on when the hot tub is not in use, since desert debris easily gets into the water. Misuse of the hot tub may result in an additional maintenance charge.



-Pool and Hot Tub Service-

We have weekly hot tub cleanings on Tuesdays, and this day may fall during your stay. Please avoid using the hot tub immediately after it has been serviced, as chemical levels are higher than usual for a short time.



-Pet Policy-

We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation how many dogs you are bringing. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed due to the owner's severe allergy.

-Wildlife & Safety-

The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it's important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.

For your security, there is an exterior camera at the front of the house. There are no cameras inside the home.



-Cell Service-

Cell phone coverage in the area may be limited or unavailable depending on your carrier. Wi-Fi is available at the property.



-Damage Waiver Policy-

Each reservation requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
