What a wonderful place. The tranquility and ambiance is absolutely stunning. We stayed in the Jade room and it was just perfect. The outdoor tub is amazing! The outside mattress is perfect for star gazing. The view from this room is just breathtaking. Nestled just one mile from the entrance to Joshua Tree, this little piece of heaven is worth staying at. We will be back!

Peace in the desert.

A delightful small hotel with private outdoor tubs for soaking and taking in the stars, a killer view of the desert and mountains, southwestern style architecture and grounds, and located just a mile from the western entrance to Joshua Tree NP. This is a family run business with friendly owners and a quiet, layed back quality. No television -- a huge plus in a setting as beautiful as this one. Clean. Easy peasy check in and check out. The owners provide helpful information about places to eat, local attractions, favorite hikes.

LOVED!

This was such a beautiful place to stay . The room is so unique and beautifully decorated. I knew that it was going to be nice but it definitely exceeded my expectations. The outdoor tub and bed was so amazing while stargazing. I would highly recommend this place for a romantic getaway where you can really enjoy the space. Worth every penny!

Well, for one, proximity to Joshua Tree which is in and of itself, unique. The building and grounds are spectacular. Loved the views from our room. The outdoor bed, bath, and shower are fun. Stargazing is amazing from them. Inside is beautiful too. Very nicely appointed. We needed a retreat and Sacred Sands was perfect. Oh, and service was quick and friendly each of the two times we had requests. Will be making this an annual retreat. Sending our kids there too.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Sacred Sands. I planned my stay months in advance when I came across this gem. I was in contact with the owner whenever I had a question and it was always a pleasure when we spoke. This was a special getaway for my love and I. It was such a perfect surprise for him that I couldn’t wait to show him. There’s nothing like seeing photos and having the space be exactly that or better. Check in and check out was very easy. All the amenities listed were exact. The land that it’s on and the views you’ll experience are something out of a movie. I most certainly recommend your Sacred Sands. I reserved the Jade suite and was very, very happy and so was my love.

We found our new secret hideaway in Joshua Tree!The property looks exactly as pictured!The outside shower and tub are squeaky clean(pun totally intended!)and the water was very hot,which my husband and I prefer-especially when it gets cooler and breezier at night.The outdoor bed was also very comfortable and made a great place for stargazing(and yes,making out,too!).We spent more time outside than indoors but the Onyx room was cozy.The bathroom/indoor shower was lovely skylight with every amenity (including robes/slippers) and waterfall showerhead.Yay!There was also a record player and records to enjoy,Keurig machine w/plenty of coffee and creamer in the mini fridge as well as fresh water in carafes.We brought our own reusable bottles that we filled & took to Joshua Tree park.BTW the West entrance was about a mile from Sacred Sands.The access was not only super convenient but it made for a lovely drive through Joshua Tree.The property was very quiet even with outer properties nearby-we were not disturbed at all! Quail Rd. is nearby but the road noise did not bother us at all. Sacred Sands is also perched higher than other properties giving us spectacular views of the valley and added to the feel of privacy!

Nice place to stay for a weekend.

Very beautiful location, great for photo shoots or events. There is no tv in the room. In case you want to watch a movie. And the fire pit didn’t work. But it is only a mile away from the national park.

My husband and I don't have enough wonderful things to say about this place. You're literally in Joshua Tree surrounded by nature and it's everything you would hope a getaway would be. I mean, the outdoor tub and bed speak for themselves. Our only regret is not staying another night or 2. Taking a bath under the stars surrounded by the mountains is the best way to connect with your partner and yourself. You will love it here

Amazing place just outside of Joshua Tree Nat Park

The accommodations were spectacular! There was one other couple staying there and if not for seeing their car in the parking lot, we would not have even known that they were there. The room was so quiet. The outdoor area for the room was amazing. It consisted of a bathtub, a queen size bed, and a shower. There is a barrier between the outdoor areas of each room and it was high enough that we still had plenty of privacy from the adjacent room. The scenery outside of Sacred Sands is stunning as well!

There should be a huge disclaimer for this property that one night will never be enough! I booked for one night and ended up booking a second night because it was an amazing stay. Truly special and beautiful. Kaylee and Keith were very accommodating and great hosts. I highly recommend anyone who needs a retreat to book this place. I cannot put in words of how great it is!! And Joshua Tree National Park is about a mile up the road so that was a bonus as well!
