The Space:

The Vault is a new-construction modern home set in Joshua Tree's desert landscape, with mountain views and high-end finishes throughout. Concrete construction gives the house a solid, quiet feel, and an indoor skylight and walls of glass bring in the desert light. The open layout runs from the kitchen through the dining room, where sliding doors open with a clear view straight to the pool. It works well for couples, families or small groups who want an easy indoor-outdoor stay close to town and the park.

-Outdoor Amenities-

Step through the dining room sliders and the pool is right there, lined with loungers and set against the mountains. The above-ground hot tub is kept heated for soaking at any hour, and the fire pit is the natural place to gather once the sun goes down. A BBQ grill makes it easy to cook outside, and there is plenty of room to lounge in the sun during the day. Evenings bring big desert skies and, on clear nights, a sky full of stars.



-Living Area-

The home is open concept, with the living room, dining room and kitchen sharing one bright space. The TV in the living room can be seen from both the dining room and the kitchen, so whoever is cooking stays part of the conversation. Minimalist design, splashes of color and the overhead skylight keep the rooms light and calm, and the sliders put the pool in view from the dining table.



-Kitchen and Dining-

The fully equipped kitchen has what you need for everything from quick breakfasts to full dinners, and it opens directly to the dining area. The dining room looks straight through the sliders to the pool, so meals come with a view. For dinner outside, fire up the BBQ grill and eat by the pool as the evening cools.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

The primary bedroom is on the far right side of the home, off the dining area and tucked away for privacy. It has a king bed, built-in headboards, minimalist design and splashes of color. The bunk room has a low bunk bed and playful design touches, and it is a natural fit for kids. The second king bedroom sits to the far left of the home, to the left of the front door.

The two bedroom bathrooms have walk-in showers, and the bunk room and the second king bedroom share one of them. A half bath off the dining room makes it easy to rinse off after the pool or wash up before dinner. High-end towels, shampoo and conditioner are provided.



-Surrounding Area-

The Vault puts you minutes from downtown Joshua Tree and its cafés, galleries and shops, and close to the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park for hiking, climbing and scenic drives among the Joshua trees and boulder fields. Pioneertown's live music and the Integratron's sound baths are an easy drive away. Days are bright and dry, and nights are dark enough for serious stargazing.
