"Room and bathroom were outdated by decades. Carpet awful! Lobby was no better. Pool was green and closed for a bit and reopened. I couldn’t believe folks still went in even though it looked horrible. Pictures on the website were far better than what we actually experienced. Staff were amazing!! The only positive."

"Love this hotel. Stayed here several times before. Love the location. Beautiful ocean views. Rooms are very clean. Breakfast was awesome. The employee working there does an amazing job keeping everything clean and filled up. Front desk was great. Housekeeping was also great. Didn’t give the 5 stars line I did on my previous stays was do to bar was closed. I wish I would’ve known that. Had friends from Ohio come down and was disappointed that we couldn’t go have a drink there in the afternoon and evening. That should be posted on the website. Then the pool. It definitely needs attention. Every time I asked about it I got a different answer. It was full of sand on the bottom. Now I understand it’s the beach and Daytona had a storm the weekend prior. However, the pool should have been cleaned afterwards. We were there Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. Left Friday morning and that pool was never touched. It was over 90 degrees and not many people would go in it so you know something was wrong. My prior stays the pool was packed all the time. Some people prefer the pool over the ocean. Like I said I really love this place but before I would stay again I’d make sure bar was open and the pool was clean. "
