During these concerning times, Luna Seas can offer social distancing at it’s finest. No one will meet you upon your arrival, as there is a lock box with a code containing the key. Choose to self isolate on your small piece of West Coast paradise or choose to explore the wild beaches and forests that Sooke and the surrounding areas are known for.

South facing waterfront on a private .5 acre. An unobstructed view of the Juan de Fuca strait and the Olympic mountains. Wild life abounds, with possible daily sightings of orca, seals, sea lions, otters, eagles and many more.

A jetted hot tub to take in the amazing views, the hardest choice is whether to soak with a East, South or West view.

Beautiful world renowned wilderness in close proximity, but only 7 minutes to restaurants, banks, grocery stores etc., and only 30 minutes to big box stores in Langford.

The features of the cabin are, 15' ceilings with many windows to maximize the view. A fully stocked kitchen with bar fridge, microwave, toaster oven, induction hot plate and propane barbecue. All you need to bring is your food.

This is the PERFECT place to stay for a recharge. The combination of the sea and sky can take the cares of the world away as you enjoy the best located hot tub you can imagine. This is a very special place.

Our stay was wonderful. The pictures hardly do the views from the front porch justice. Best we’ve ever experienced. Bring binoculars! Happy we did and we were able to see whales and seals straight out in front of us in the Strait. The nearby hikes were also great as was the town of Sooke.

Comfort on the waterfront

It was our first time in Sooke and the property location definitely enhanced our experience of the town and surrounding areas. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the sea lions pass by as we sipped our morning coffee.

A nice getaway

We enjoyed our quiet stay in this house, less than an hour drive to Victoria proper. Gorgeous view of the Salish Sea. Clean, well stocked, good directions to the location.

A very Happy Easter!

What beats time spent on a bluff at Otter Point? Not much! Amazing views from inside and outside the cabin. We spent a fair bit of time on the bluff watching wildlife and weather systems approaching over the water.Cabin is well planned and comfortable. We will for sure be back!

Great place to relax

We enjoyed every moment there, even the rainy ones. View is extraordinary, wild life just in front and around the house, good cooking supplies, quite soft mattress but great in size, need to have your own internet.

R&R to the Max!

We had a magical time and loved our stay. The home has all you need and the views are top notch! We saw sea lions, seals, an eagle, and Orcas from the deck. The house is as advertised. It was the perfect place to rest, reflect and reconnect! 20th anniversary trip and this place made it the best!

Paradise!

The views! Absolutely stunning. The cabin has everything you need. Lots to do in the area but we also spent a lot of time on the deck and in the hot tub just relaxing because it is so beautiful.

Private, nature-based escapism at its finest

There is a reason this place has received nothing but perfect ratings! My partner and I stayed for two nights in February (14, 15th), over a long weekend. The place is spectacular for a quiet getaway. It's hard to beat watching marine wildlife from a hot tub--we saw seals, sea lions, harbor porpoises, and possibly even a sea otter (it was too dark to tell at that time). If you're there shortly after Feb. 15, we also left some coffee grounds (there were none when we arrived, so might be good to make sure you have that if you need it!). I hope to be back again soon.

Paradise

A wonderful stay of five nights in June- the cabin is super cute, clean and well equipped with everything you need. The views are incredible. The hot tub is a wonderful feature and perfect for after a chilly afternoon of whale watching or after a day of hiking. From the cabin we enjoyed day trips to nearby hikes, Victoria, and Salt Spring Island. But perhaps the best part of the stay was simply enjoying coffee on the deck in the morning watching the fishing boats pass by.

Long weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our long weekend getaway at Luna Seas. The views of Juan de Fuca Strait were amazing! The location is great with short trips to hiking trails, breweries, distillery and artisans. For being on highway 14 it is very private. Our only critiques are, that we would have preferred a love seat instead of the two oversized arm chairs and we would suggest it is time for a new mattress. Thank you Mike and Glenda for sharing your place.

Disconnect and Reconnect!

My husband and I had an awesome time! We came for New Years and stayed for the scenery, hot tub, comfy bed and wildlife! It was a perfect mini getaway and the game 'Mindtrap' was really fun too! Thank you so so much! Planning to make this an annual thing for sure! -Lea & Chris

Beautiful island getaway

This is by far one of the nicest locations we have stayed at on the island. The cottage is right on the waterfront in a private location. We were treated to scenic views of ocean sunrises, sunsets, a lightning show, and a spectacular full Blue moon glistening on the water. We enjoyed watching pods of sea lions and orca whales swimming right in front of the deck.. The cottage is located near several provincial parks with great hiking trails and several beaches. It is also only a short drive to Victoria. It is a perfect size for two, with all the amenities we needed, as well as a hot tub . We will definitely come back again to enjoy this relaxing getaway!

After the Cyclone Bomb

The cyclone bomb hit two days before our stay. Glenda got hold of us to let us know the power was off and we may want to cancel the trip. 30 minutes before we had to head out to catch the ferry, Glenda called again to let us know the power was back on. So glad she did. A fabulous weekend right from the time we swung the gates open. Hot tub is a beautiful place to stargaze and loved our morning coffee on the deck watching all the sea life. The location is absolutely stunning. Just what we needed. A peaceful place to reconnect and rejuvenate

What a place !!

Got to this little paradise for our anniversary and those few days and nights just went by really fast !! A very secluded place though surrounded by other properties which you don't actually see. The views, those scenic views are priceless. Sea life, birds watching, etc. Oh, and that hot tub is a huge bonus! For those with Verizon, its reception from the US shore is stable with some Internet, no roaming. Sometimes it's good for communication purposes. Other guests reviews have lots of additional information. We both have a strong feeling of getting back sometimes to this little piece of Luna Seas !!

Beautiful Views by the Ocean

Spent a week at this restful retreat listening to the waves as cruise ships sailed by. The views! Plenty to do in the area and an abundance of wildlife. Travelled the Pacific Marine Circle. Kayaked with seals in Sooke Basin, sat at Orveas Bay and listened to the waves, explored tidal pools at Botanical Beach in Port Renfrew, stopped at Sheringham Lighthouse, Kinsol Trestle and Shirley Market and a leisurely tube down Cowichan River. Magical starry skies and the Milky Way while lounging in the hot tub after a 30km bike ride on the Galloping Goose Trail up past the Sooke Potholes. Home is well stocked, bed is comfy and hosts were quick to respond when we had a question. Would definitely recommend a stay at Luna by the Seas to renew and recharge your soul. Truly, a magical getaway!
