"Location was great for getting around San Francisco by cable car / bus, and quieter than many places I've stayed near Union Square. Getting to BART/Caltrain was a bit harder, but we used Waymo to connect to those, to my kid's delight.
Larger than average rooms for the city. It's SF, so pretty cold outside for the outdoor pool, even in summer, but the 24 hour fitness room was excellent. Only two guest laundry washing machines for 20+ floors of guests, and one was broken during our stay, so plan accordingly.
For breakfast, my family liked "pancake tacos" at The Village restaurant nearby, and pastries at the Juniper bakery. Whole Foods is a block away, and a variety of restaurants. e.g., ~1 block to Little Chihuahua for tasty Mexican food with large portions. The hotel room does have a small fridge. Great staff.
