Here you are offered a unique opportunity to stay in the completely renovated Sand.
A 19th century ship at Lake Hjälmaren beach, rebuilt to modern, spacious standard.
In this fantastic accommodation you will have a fantastic location on the lake, completely separated by the forest as the nearest neighbor.
On the other side of Hjälmaren, the magic story fair Stora Sundby, where you can take a short rowing trip, rejoices.

Very nice and well maintained house

We were allowed to get to know a beautiful and well maintained house. The house is very well equipped, nothing is missing. The location on the Hjälmaren is uniquely beautiful and impressive. Since the house is secluded, it is very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the vast surroundings, the snowy forest and the frozen Hjälmaren. The contact with Mauritz and Nina was helpful and uncomplicated. Hope to come back one time. Walter, Daniel and Thomas

A place to relax

Checking in went well; we met Nina and followed her car in ours to get to the property; it is 5 Km off the main road and the road surface is gavel/stones. My husband was a bit sad at that point since there was no way he could ride is racing bike he had with him on this surface. However, all sadness left as we got to the house and went inside. Outside, the location is fantastic with stunning views over the lake and to Stora Sunby Slott on the other side. Inside, wow. The house much have been built about 10 years ago (guess on my part) but the style outside is very Swedish summer house style. Inside, the building work of the floors and windows etc. is fantastic, great attebtion to detail and it is beautifully decorated. Nina showed us round and explained a few things that needed explaining. One of these things is that the tap water, although safe to drink, does not taste very nice (but is OK for tea and coffee) and so a bottle of water had been provided in the fridge. It would have been good to know this in advance since we could have brought water with us instead of having to buy plastic bottles at the local supermarket. However, that was the ONLY minor annoyance and we had a very happy week there, sitting on the deck, reading, looking at the view, swimming in the lake, repeat :-) We will return, with a mountain bike and not a raod bike!!

Schönes Haus mit Seeblick

Das Haus ist super schön mit einer tollen Lage direkt am See. Mitinbegriffen ist eine Sauna und ein Ruderboot. Man konnte super den See erkunden und Abend in der Sauna entspannen. Das Haus liegt mitten im Wald, mit etwas Glück kann man viele Tiere sehen. Und sind sogar wildschweine und ein Elch über den Weg gelaufen nicht unweit vom Grundstück. Das Haus ist so wie es im Inserat dargestellt wurde, allerdings hätte es etwas sauberer sein können. Alles in allem hatten wir eine wunderbare Zeit dort und würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Perfekter Urlaub

Tolles Haus mitten im Wald direkt am See. Ruhe, Entspannung, Tiere, Gegend, Wasser. Im Haus ist alles, was man braucht, die große Küche ist genial, Wohn- und Esszimmer sind sehr ansprechend. Die Schlafzimmer sind geräumig. Wir konnten viel Unternehmen und viel Ausspannen. Ein perfekter Urlaub in einer perfekten Lokation. Vielen Dank dafür.

Stället överträffade våra förväntningar! Det ogenerade läget, bastun och stranden, svampskogen och ett hus som är både rymligt, funktionellt och trivsamt. Som den matglada familj vi är hade vi uppskattat lite mer utrustning, porslin och bestick i köket, men det är också vår enda anmärkning. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Ein Traum, der für uns in Erfüllung ging.

Bei unserer Ankunft, als nach einer «gefühlten Ewigkeit» auf Kies- und Naturstrassen durch den Wald, wo uns das Navi hin führte, dieses traumhafte, wie in der Website beschriebene Anwesen auftauchte, waren wir begeistert. Ein wunderschönes, stilvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit viel Liebe zum Detail an einem so idyllischen Ort, mitten in der Natur, direkt am See. Auch die Sauna und das Ruderboot am eigenen Steg vollendeten das Gesamtbild perfekt. Eine Empfehlung an alle, die Ruhe und Erholung suchen.

We (group of 6) have spent a week at this lovely place. The house and location are wonderful. In the middle of the forest, with a sauna next to the lake you can calm down and enjoy your holidays.

Perfekte Idylle

Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und hat alles was man benötigt! Toller Blick auf den See, sehr schöne Lage mitten im Wald. Das Sauna- Häuschen direkt am See ist toll und ideal für 4 Personen. Ein Bad im See danach ging auch noch im Oktober. Streifzüge durch den umliegenden Wald belohnten und sogar mit der Entdeckung einer Elchkuh! Wir haben den Aufenthalt ingesamt sehr genossen! Tipp: vorher Großeinkauf machen und dann die Einsamkeit und Idylle fernab von städtischem Trubel genießen.

Urlaub in Schweden, so wie man sich es vorstellt.

Eine kurze Zusammenfassung gleich zu Beginn. Wir haben eine Woche Sommerurlaub in diesem schönen Ferienhaus, bei bestem Wetter genießen dürfen. Das Flair des Hauses, die Lage am See und die Einsamkeit sind einfach super. Genau so stellt man sich das vor, wenn man seinen Urlaub in Schweden plant. Das Haus ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der eigene kleine Sandstrand, die super Sauna, der Steg mit dem Ruderboot, all das ist sehr stimmig und lassen einem den Urlaub genießen. Wenn, wie in unserem Fall, auch das Wetter mitspielt, gibt es kaum Punkte die man kritisieren kann/darf. Das was Vormieter geschrieben haben, was die Wasserqualität betrifft, stimmt. Wer empfindlich bzgl. Wassergeschmack ist, der sollte zu Mineralwasser greifen. Zum kochen, waschen und auch Zähne putzen, kann man aber schon das Wasser aus der Leitung nehmen. Geschirr und Besteck dürfte es etwas mehr sein, aber das ist nur eine Anmerkung und kein Mangel. Bei 6 Personen (4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) ist die Spülmaschine dann schön öfters mal in Gebrauch. Hier gibt es auch den einzigen Mangel den wir hatten. An den letzten 2 Tagen wurde das Reinigungsergebnis immer schlechter, was wohl mit verstoppten Düsen zu tun hatte. Wir haben bei unserer Abreise das Housekeeping informiert und hoffen das die nachfolgenden Urlauber schnell wieder eine gut funktionierende Spülmaschine nutzen konnten. Vielen Dank an Johanna und Mauritz, bestimmt kommen wir wieder.

Pure Natur mit Haus am See und Sauna

Sehr schöne Umgebung mit Angelmöglichkeit. Tolles Haus am See in der Wildnis. Die Sauna war auch sehr gut! Mit eigenem Ruderboot und eigenem Strand am 4. größten See Schwedens. Vielen Dank an Nina :) sehr zuverlässig und immer erreichbar. Die Sauberkeit bei der Anreise war ok. Auf jeden Fall insgesamt weiter zu empfehlen, der Wald ist zum Radfahren oder Spazieren gehen perfekt geeignet! Super Erholung in der Natur und Schweden ist einfach toll.

Wunderschöner Urlaub in perfekter Umgebung

Wir haben im Herbst einen wunderschönen Urlaub in diesem einzigartigen Ferienhaus verbringen dürfen. Die Ausstattung lässt absolut keine Wünsche offen, alles was wir für einen gelungenen Urlaub benötigten, haben wir vorgefunden. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet, die Schlafräume ( wir waren mit fünf Erwachsenen Personen da) großzügig und mit Bettwäsche und Handtüchern versehen und Wohn- und Essraum strahlen eine gemütliche Atmosphäre aus. Wichtig für die etwas kühlere Jahreszeit: das Haus lässt sich kuschlig warm heizen. Die Lage des Hauses ist - wie beschrieben - wunderbar. See, Sauna und Boot sind in wenigen Schritten zu erreichen. Naturgemäß ist das Grundstück im Herbst etwas schattiger, was aber durch schöne Wanderungen in der Umgebung kompensiert werden kann. Hierbei durften wir auch Wildschweine und zwei Elche bewundern. Die Fahrt zum nächsten, für uns ausreichenden kleinen ICA, beträgt 10-15 Minuten. Wunderschöne Wanderungen haben wir auf einem Rundweg des Sörmlandleden bei Kathrineholm sowie bei den Schleusen in der Nähe von Aboga unternommen (die Wege sind in der im Haus ausliegenden Karte eingezeichnet). Julita ist absolut einen Ausflug wert - hier haben wir auch unseren ersten Weihnachtsmarkt erlebt! Das auf der anderen Seeseite liegende Schloss Stora Sundby mit Tiergehege ist wunderschön anzusehen und lädt zum Schlendern im Park ein. Stockholm ist ca. 1.45 Stunden mit dem Auto entfernt und selbsterklärend natürlich eine Reise wert. Der Kontakt sowie die Schlüsselübergabe mit den Vermietern war einwandfrei und Mauritz und Nina stehen bei Fragen jeglicher Art schnell und zuverlässig zur Verfügung!! Special thanks to Nina and Mauritz!!

The perfect place!

Licht und Schatten…

Die Lage des Hauses ist ein absoluter Traum!!! Man hat jede Menge Platz, auch auf Terrasse und Grundstück, und hat seinen eigenen kleinen Strand - supergenial! Die Kommunikation und Verabredung mit den Vermietern verlief problemlos und zuverlässig. Nicht sehr erfreulich waren diese Punkte: - keinerlei Fliegengaze in den Fenstern! - kein einziger Kleiderschrank im gesamten Haus, in dem man Kleidung aufhängen könnte. - schlampige und unvollständige Reinigung nach unseren Vormietern: Beide Toiletten und Waschbecken schmutzig, liegengelassenes Duschgel in der Dusche, verschmutzter Kühlschrank, Nudelreste in der Spüle, nicht geleerter Mülleimer und benutztes Handtuch im oberen WC, Golfbälle und Raucher-Hinterlassenschaften im und am Sauna-Häuschen. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich es noch einmal buchen würde - dennoch hatten wir einen wundervollen Urlaub!

Traumhaus in ruhiger Alleinlage, sehr gut gemanagt

Wir haben unseren Urlaub im Haus Sand sehr genossen: Traumhaus in Bestlage am See, sehr ruhig, intakte Natur, sehr gut ausgestattet (inkl. Sauna am See!). Ideal zum Entspannen, Wandern, Kajakfahren und Schwimmen. Der Vermieter antwortet sehr schnell, ist sehr aufmerksam.

Positiv+ - Herrliche ruhige Lage. - Saubere neue Sauna. - Sehr entspannend. - Fast keine Mücken. Negativ - - DVD Player keine Funktion. Kein TV. - Geschirrspüler Programmstop nach ca. 3 Minuten. - Dusche war "schmuddelig", sollte besser gereinigt oder ersetzt werden. - Vor dem 1. Gast sollte das Ferienhaus besser gelüfted werden. Großartige Lage die keine Wünsche offen lässt...

Die Lage und die Umgebung dort direkt am See ist nicht zu überbieten. Schweden und Natur pur. Es gibt einen großen eingezäunten Garten (gut mit Kindern). Die Vermieter hatten kurz vorher nochmal alles gemäht, was perfekt war. Ein eigener Weg führt runter zum Strand und zur Sauna. Außerdem gibt es ein Ruderboot und Schwimmwesten (auch passend für Kinder). Die Ausstattung ist gut und es sind die wichtigsten Dinge vorhanden. Es gibt einen großen Kühlschrank mit Eisfach (wir mussten den Kühlschrank ein wenig reinigen vor der Nutzung, aber es war nicht weiter schlimm). Das große Doppelbett in einem der Schlafzimmer sind zwei zusammengestellte EInzelbetten. Das ist kein großes Problem, aber man muss natürlich mit der Besucherritze aufpassen, vorallem wenn das Kind mal mit im Bett liegt ;). Wir waren hier sehr zufrieden und haben einen tollen Urlaub verbracht und würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen. Haus war sehr schön und gut eingerichtet, wir (4 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) hatten genug platz. Es gibt auch das eine oder andere zu sehen in der Nähe, aber kaum etwas ohne Auto! Wer nur an den Strand und in den Wald möchte, braucht nichts anderes. Es gibt zwei Supermärkte in der Nähe (15-17 Autominuten). Wir empfehlen den ICA bei der Tankstelle "Julitahallen". Der ist besser als der etwas Nähere, sind aber nur wenige Minuten. Er ist gut sortiert und es gibt alles, auch sehr gutes Fleisch zum Grillen. Wo man auf jeden Fall hinfahren sollte ist "Magdakullan", ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit Tischen auf einer Wiese neben der Weide, dort gibt es herausragende Burgern und tolles Kuchenangebot. Man kann dort auch Pattys und Fleisch kaufen. Wir haben zweimal Burger vom Grill gemacht (dort gekauft) und waren einmal dort Burger essen ;). Die Moskitos haben sich in Grenzen gehalten, das könnte in einer anderen Jahreszeit natürlich anders sein. Aber abends am See ist schon ordentlich Vorsicht geboten. Spray, Aufkleber etc. schaffen Abhilfe. Alles in allem sehr großartig und wärmstens zu empfehlen. Viel Spaß dort!

Sehr schönes Haus mit allem, was man braucht, vor allem die Sauna ist toll und natürlich der Badestrand. Ein Motor zum Boot wäre bei der Seegröße schöner. Und natürlich eine tolle Umgebung.
