The River Side Lodge- With private boat dock on the KY river!

"We were pleased with our stay and the place overall. We brought kids with us and they enjoyed the downstairs area and the games. The basement is what you would expect from a basement with games in it, I think it would be nice to have some foam mats or something but my kids didn't seem to mind after a while. The host was SUPER quick to reply to any message and offered help when needed. The road is described as bumpy, we used the steeper entrance and that was fine. Yes, it is a dirt road and narrow so just take it slow, I did test out the other path and that had a few more bumps and holes. You kind of feel like you are driving off the edge of the road when you get off the main road, but you are going the right way. The house was nice and stocked with plenty of movies to choose from, the kitchen has most of the items you need to cook, and the beds were firm. We were thankful for the air conditioning because it was pretty warm when we got there and it helped keep the rooms cool."

"The TV initially did not work, staff quickly replaced the batteries. We were allowed to check in early in order to be on time for a wedding. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of variety."

"Hugo and Shanon were the best. Gave us great local information. Breakfast was like Momma used to make it, If you need a place to call home for a night or more this is it. We will stay here again and again just because we have made new great friends in just one morning."

"Beautiful mountain top oasis for large groups. The whole thing was awesome. The only down side was that everything was 20-40 minutes away. But the location was amazing"

"The whole house was clean. The property was also. Quiet nice spot. There is no access to the lake. We had a hard time finding fishing spots near. The drive way is very steep. We were on a great location about 15 to 20 minutes from downtown. The basement bedrooms were nice but they have a dehumidifier that we were changing every day. It's damp down there. The beds were very comfortable and so was all the furniture. Overall our stay was great the photos do make it look as though you have lake access and you do not and there is no access for miles."
