"The room was lovely and clean, tucked every box for a short get away. The staff were lovely and really helpful. The hotel was in a prime spot, a stones throw from everything we wanted and needed. The breakfast was amazing and my son loved the waffle maker! Would definitely go back again!"

"Had a good 2 night stay at The Pavilion. Lovely character manor house kind of property. All staff (even though quite young) were friendly and efficient. Good location as could hop on a bus into the city. Parking (payable) at the hotel or park on street free if any spare spaces. Rooms were ok/fine, had to move from 1st one as towel rail and also toilet roll holder were both hanging off the walls. They upgraded us for free to king room. This was a good size although carpet showing slight signs of wear. Bathrooms were small but adequate, although a bit of a musty smell. Breakfast was fab 🔟, plenty of choices Inc fruit, cereal, pastries and also cooked as well. All in all a good stay, easy to explore York and good pub The Plough down the road Would recommend. "
