"We'll start in let's say room 1 of 2 rooms i reserved. The ac unit didn't keep temp so was continually hot, the bedding on one of the beds was dirty with what looked like urine stains, so we called to get a new set and she told us to come get one and we'd have to change it out ourselves. (understandably because it was late and she was probably alone). Room 2.... it had a horrible smell, the ac unit was so loud it sounded like a concrete mixing truck was outside our window and didn't cool well. The bathroom was dirty and my husband had to adjust the toilet tank parts so it would stop running and making a loud high pitched squealing noise all night. After telling the girl up front all of this she said, let me know of anything else went wrong then I'll get you another room."

"The area around the property (parking lot) was dirty, lots of trash. Also, there were two police cars out front when we arrived talking to people. I don’t know whatever happened, but we felt a little less safe. Also, a distinct smell of weed coming out of the window next to ours."

"The check-in process was quick and easy and he was very friendly however, when I got in my room, the TV didn’t work, later that evening I realized there were no towels in the room, except for a single hand towel by the sink when I asked the front desk person for some towels. I was informed that he was unable to get them and I had to wait for housekeeping however, when I asked in the morning, once housekeeping had arrived, the front desk person showed me where the towels had been the night before and said housekeeping has them all you have to go track them down meaning the man just didn’t feel like getting up to get me a towel from 7 feet away from where he was sitting… "

"Despite having a specific room booked 10+ days in advance, the hotel staff called me a few hours before check in to inform me that the room had been overbooked. They asked to call me back so they could see what they could do. They didn't call back. After an hour, I called them and was asked to wait for their call which would be in a few minutes. They didn't call back. I had traveled from out of state and began to panic a bit of not having an accommodation large enough for the family. I called them back and talked to the manager. She was very kind and we worked on a few different solutions including two neighboring rooms and possibly two adjoining rooms. She was worried because the hotel was almost at capacity. No my problem as I had a reservation... After some time, she was able to "move others around" so I could have two ajoining rooms. As compensation for the switch in rooms and the inconvenience of it all, they gave me water bottles, 3 Twix candy bars, two small bags of chips, and a few individual packages of cookies. When I checked in, I did ask for some compensation for the whole inconvenience. The manager was very kind, but she declined saying I was getting TWO rooms for the price of one. They had already comped out the second room. Well I wouldn't have needed a second room if I had received the two bedroom suite I had reserved nearly two weeks earlier. I was extremely tired and ready to just get the vacation started, I dropped it. "

"The stay was amazing. Very easy check-in, great placement with a lot of store and restaurants nearby, great price, vet accessible to the mountains and downtown SLC. I had a great time staying here and definitely would recommend."
