"Our room was really gross. We were immediately hit in the face by the smell of mildew upon entering our room. Couch was so stained that we didn’t sit on it. Bathroom had broken fixtures. Bathtub was dirty. Some sort of substances on the walls. They were sold out so we couldn’t switch rooms. "

"Breakfast was great. Everything was clean and friendly staff. My only complaint is that we were right next to basketball and they were out there until almost midnight and front desk said quite time was 8am."

"I specifically booked a spa tub room expecting to actually be able to use the spa tub—but that turned out to be a complete disappointment. Within minutes of arriving and trying it out, it was clear the tub was not working at all. When I brought this to the front desk, Nancy was completely unhelpful. She acknowledged that the tub was broken, yet refused to offer any reasonable solution—no room change, no partial refund, nothing. It was frustrating to pay for a higher-tier room and not receive what was advertised. To make matters worse, staff claimed the tub had been working for the previous guest, which seems highly unlikely given how quickly the issue showed up. It felt more like an excuse than an explanation. I was told a manager would follow up, but I’m still waiting on that call. Overall, very poor customer service and a disappointing experience. I would not recommend booking a spa tub room here unless you’re okay with the risk of it not working and getting no resolution."

"There is no coffee maker in the room you must go to kitchen and both beds feel like you sink to the bottom Shower is a plus, great water pressure and it’s good for tall people Breakfast was decent but no waffle maker "

"This is a converted hotel into something I don't know what. One lampshade missing, one looked like it had burn marks. In the bathroom, half the toilet paper holder on the wall was missing. Bathroom door was broken. Extra safety lock on front door was missing half. Phone was just sitting on the county with no cord to connect to the wall. Then the kicker, the heater in the room was broken/didn't work. Their maintenance had gone home for the day. First time in my nearly 60 year life I asked for a refund of all my money and went and found a different place to stay."

"The staff was extremely pleasant and I feel their goal was to make your stay was comfortable and pleasant as could possibly be. One more thing im kind of a clean freak so I gotta be honest I watched the cleaning staff without their knowledge. I wash shocked at the detail and thouroughness with the detail and pride they seemed to take in ever room. Im in customer service and im gonna be honest it's hard to give a review without a flaw but I truly belive the Royal Inn deserves it."
