"Villa Romaine is a well-appointed rental but was undercooked for a summer rental. It fell short in small things - such as having no pegs to hang coats, and providing a coffee machine but no pods for it - to larger failings - such as having no sun loungers and not offering a linen/towel change in the middle of a two-week stay.The agents were diligent in ensuring pre-holiday payments (for tax and deposit) but less helpful during the stay. Sure Hotel by Best Western Dole

"The hotel was good for an overnight stay on our travels through France to Italy. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. it was good to have free onsite parking. It is a short drive to Dole town to sightsee and eat. We didn't have breakfast as our dog was not allowed and it was 12 euros each."

"La maison est spacieuse et agréable avec un bel espace de vue et une belle terrasse. La proximité de la route altère un peu l’intimité (beaucoup de gens passent à pied ou en vélo et il n’y a pas de haie qui protège du regard) mais, contrairement à nos inquiétudes premières, le bruit n’est pas gênant. Le gîte est vraiment adapté pour 6 personnes, pas 8 (le dernier couchage est un clic clac sur le palier). Les chambres sont grandes. L’ensemble est propre et bien pensé, idéalement situé pour se rendre au lac. Les commerces sont proches. L’équipement cependant est un peu vieillissant (ou premier prix) et mériterait d’être renouvelé : ustensiles de cuisine, pas de lumière dans une chambre, fuite dans les toilettes, douche qui déborde très vite. Bonne literie. L’entretien de la maison est assez facile. Heureusement d’ailleurs car les frais de ménage sont exorbitants."
