Favorite stay of the trip

We absolutely loved this condo. The location was perfect and the resort is great for adults and kids. The condo was clean and well stocked. Communication from the property manager was quick and they provided clear instructions for check in/out.

Impressive

Fantastatic views and very clean unit, all at a very reasonable price in a top-notch location. There is a grocery store and some restaurants right across the street which is convenient.

Great stay

Property looked just like the pictures online - very spacious, clean, and quiet. Parking in the garage was a little tricky at times given the small spaces but always found a place to park. Access to pools and beach were very convenient. Would stay here again!

Gorgeous condo and resort!

Great condo, great resort! It was clean, well maintained and had everything we needed, even beach chairs. Huge bathroom and comfortable bed. Loved having coffee / wine on the lanai with ocean and mountain views. Duke’s is not only convenient but delicious! Highly recommend.

Fall break Vacation

We had a great stay. The condo is well equipped with all the necessities. The location is perfect. We had a view of the ocean and the mountains. Rainbows every evening. The beach and pool are top notch. We saw the beautiful sunsets every evening. The grocery stores and food truck malls are within walking distance. We are home cooked meals, food trucks, Dukes and at Whaler village. We got yummy cinnamon rolls at Papi Hana’s. Kaanapali and Honua Kai thanks for showing us a great time

Communication with host was the best!

This was a beautiful place to stay! Great communication with host! This has nothing to do with this VRBO, but watch out for people who may take your pool towels!! We left to go to the beach in our rented Casabella…. Came back and our towels were gone! I absolutely would stay here again!! Thank you!

Great Stay & Very Professional!

My wife, baby, and I stayed for a week through the 4th of July weekend. The condo was very clean and in great overall condition, exactly as promised. We highly recommend staying at this unit (perfect for families!) and will most definitely try and stay here again the next time we visit Kaanapali. To top it off, from the time that we booked up until the time we left, all of the communications we had the with Jill (management company) were nothing short of professional, polite, and prompt. Looking forward to the next time!

Such an amazing experience!!

We absolutely loved this condo! I will stay in this suite again and again! The views were spectacular and there was everything we needed in the suite. Jill was great to communicate with anytime I needed absolutely anything! The only thing I can recommend for this place is to upgrade the playpen but again that’s an extra which I am still thankful to have had. It was just extremely uncomfortable for the baby no padding and you can feel all the bars, so she slept with us many nights but that’s ok again that’s a great extra!

Beautiful Honua kai and Maui

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: we loved our condo 508 in the konea building. The additional den with pull out coach and tv was perfect for my two teenagers. The view to both the west Maui mountains in the morning was amazing as well as the view to the ocean and molokai with the western sunsets over the water. The resort is beautiful and condo was perfect. We did grill out at the grill area facing the water- nice add to the resort. We had to rent a wheelchair for my mom and the concierge at the resort took care of everything. It was very easy to manuever around the many sidewalks with the wheelchair. Thank you for that. We have been to Maui over 10 times and this is the best resort. I cannot wait until the villas get finished to stay in those. thank you for everything. See you in 2020.

Great Maui Property!

Our family of four, including two kids aged 13 and 11, had an unforgettable stay at this Maui vacation property. The early check-in was a much-appreciated convenience that set a positive tone for our vacation. Highlights: • Location: The beachfront location is unbeatable. We loved snorkeling and were thrilled to see several turtles. • Amenities: The pools were fantastic and well-maintained, with a handy towel service. • Condo: The condo was perfect for us. It allowed us to cook simple meals, and the kids had space to spread out. Our 11-year-old enjoyed the pullout sofa in the living room, while our 13-year-old appreciated the den as a separate space. • Dining and Shopping: Duke’s was great and convenient for meals, and the lobby market was a lifesaver. We especially loved the fresh poke available on M, W & F. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Room for Improvement: • We’d love an actual bed in the den, as the pullout sofa was not very comfortable for our 13-year-old and woulnd't be suitable for an adult • Parking: Parking was occasionally tricky. One evening, there were no spaces available, so we used valet. The valet was late reopening the next morning, causing a stressful situation. After several frantic calls, a security person from another tower helped us retrieve our key, and we found the car on our own. This incident almost caused us to miss our prepaid excursion. Overall, fantastic!

Wonderful experience

Before we even arrived in Hawaii the owners were very good about answering questions and responding to my messages. The unit is clean, very well stocked, and fit our family of 5 perfectly for the 3 nights. We didn’t want to leave. There was a great variety of beach toys, chairs and an umbrella and a couple boogie boards. The beach has soft sand and warm waters. We saw turtles bigger than my 8 year old! I would definitely recommend this unit to friends and anyone with kids, we love staying at Honua Kai. Thank you Jill.

Hunua Kai Resort #508

Our group was 4 adults. Two Seniors. The condo was clean, well equipped, very nice views, etc. Grounds were well kept and pools were outstanding. As with most places there are things unique. A code is used to access everything: parking, room, towels. The same code for each. To run the air condition, you need to make sure all doors to the outside are closed (they are sealed). Once doors are closed all is well. You need to wear a rubbery wrist band when on the grounds. Helps staff know if you belong. Dukes was great, bring your wallet. The staff was very helpful, if we asked (using text) answers were quick to come. I was worried about parking, not a problem (we were there in March) and parking is underground parking area and we had a large SUV. I would go back.

Family vacation

My husband and I stayed in this unit. It was perfect for the two of us. Very spacious and clean! We got ground floor units for our kids and grandkids. The property has so many amenities for all ages in our party! The grocery store and food trucks were so convenient.

The perfectcondo in Maui

It would be the perfect place to stay with your kids, or as a couple. The bathroom was huge. The whole place was very clean. The condos grounds were gorgeous. The fires did not affect this location and surrounding, so plenty of restaurants available. Would recommend this place to everyone. We are now disappointed in the next location’s resort room, as this place spoiled us!
