Relax on the lanai or the wonderfully comfortable leather chair overlooking the ocean in this spectacular vacation rental in Maui. Spot whales in winter and dolphins or turtles in the sea below.

Stroll or jog on the white sandy beach below or take a walk on the boardwalk along Ka'anapali Beach connecting the Mahana with nearby restaurants such as Dukes and shops at Whalers village. Enjoy a swim in the ocean or the Mahana's private oceanside pool. Watch the sun as it lingers and sets over the islands Molokai and Lanai right in front of your living room and lanai, enjoy a few minutes in the spa under the stars, and fall asleep to the sound of the lapping waves.

This lovely tropically furnished condo at the Mahana, rated one of the top hotels in Hawaii by Travel and Leisure, has a comfortable Bali style king-size bed in the master bedroom and a queen-size sofa bed in the living room.

The master bedroom and living room both open onto your own private lanai/balcony.

The newly renovated kitchen with warm mahogany cabinets and white quartz counters is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a gourmet sunset dinner to enjoy at the Koa dining table or at another table for 4 on the lanai.

The unit has 2 Smart TVs, a CD stereo player with i-Pod docking and DVD, a separate vanity area, a large renovated stone-design walk-in shower and your own in-unit washer and dryer. Luxury linens and beach towels are provided.

Snorkeling, scuba diving, tennis, 5 world class golf courses, fine and casual dining and shopping are all close by the Mahana and you are only steps from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

It's the perfect spot for a honeymoon, to celebrate a special anniversary, to house your wedding guests, or just to get away for an awesome tropical holiday.

NOTE: The condo is located in a resort/ hotel zone, not an apartment zone. It is approved by Maui county as a legal vacation rental.

NOTE: Between April 24, 2025, and June 27, 2025, we’re offering a rate of $280 per night, which is a 50% discount to our guests. This is because the building won’t have air conditioning, and there might be construction noise during the day, while the building roof is being upgraded.

NOTE: Between July 17, 2025. and September 12, 2025, we're offering a rate of $350 per night, which is a 35% discount to our guests. This is because there might be construction noise during the day, while the building roof is being upgraded.

Everything you needed and more

Amazing location on Kaanapali beach and close to Dukes. The condo is fully equipped with everything you need. It has every kitchen appliance, gadget, mixing bowl, salad spinner, spice, and more that it felt like home. There was also beach chairs and boogie boards to use as well. Kathy responded so quickly to my questions and emails and nothing was a surprise to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again!

The property is amazing! You could not ask for a better view! The location is fantastic and it’s very well kept. We did not use the kitchen, but it is very well stocked and beautiful. You can’t go wrong with this property!

Amazing!

We loved this condo; from the floor to ceiling windows and lanai giving a front row seat to sea turtles and ocean waves crashing, the comfortable bed and beautiful kitchen to the quiet resort pool/spa steps from the beach, it has everything and more to make your Maui vacation absolutely perfect. Booking and communication with the owner was excellent and the check-in/check out process was very simple and easy. The condo is also in a great location to experience all that Maui has to offer.

Hawaiian Heaven on Earth

Kathy's condo at Mahana is an excellent option for a Maui getaway! I stayed with my husband in February 2025. We specifically wanted an oceanfront-locale so I could watch the whales and this condo certainly delivered -- we saw non-stop whales and had very comfortable accommodations!Pros of the unit:- oceanfront balcony/lanai- 2 comfy chairs facing the ocean with floor-to-ceiling windows- Very comfortable bed- fully stocked & updated kitchen with everything you need to cook- 2 TVs with all of the channels- pool hot tub ocean is just downstairs- plentiful pool/beach chairs so you don't have to worry about getting up at 6am to claim a spot- free parking- washer & dryer in-unit- beach supplies like a cooler, towels, beach chairs & boogie board available for your usePros of the location:- food store and snorkel rentals are just across the street/walkable from the unit- food trucks with one that has coffee acia bowls for the mornings is also walkable- it's a central location so driving to all of the beaches is super easyWe had an amazing stay and would love to return when we come back to Maui!

Great Location, View

Very nice accommodations with a great view. We managed to see lots of whale activity. Very comfortable. Nice location within a short walk to the grocery store, convenient food trucks, and Dukes restaurant. Had a great stay!

Maui 2024

This was a long overdue visit that we desperately needed! The condo did not disappoint. The location was perfect for secluded beach days or traveling to visit local relatives. We were happy to be within walking distance to our sister's condo, and Duke's of course! Our interactions with the owners were delightful and all of our requests were met without question. The condo is comfortable, clean, and the view is worth a million bucks. We will be back!

vacation in paradise

beautiful place, comfortable and close to the ocean with amazing views. It was close to everything including all amenities. I saw turtles in in the ocean and sunsets everyday from the lanai. Having AC was a plus as it does get warm.

Amazing

We have stayed at the Mahana with our kids for several years and love this property. The view from the condo is amazing! This condo was well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking and also on the beach. Highly recommend the Mahana and we hope to be back soon!

Six days without the washer/dryer

The setting and location are spectacular. Ongoing maintenance on the unit is not so good. Bulb in kitchen light burnt out. No replacement could be found in any of the storage. Screen door torn at bottom. Screen doors very dirty. Baseboard broaken in kitchen. Louver vent in shower was very dirty. Washer and dryer were broaken for the first six days we were there. Washer tub left full of stinky water for six days. Repair man was in the unit when we attempted to move in. Washer/dryer parts were scattered everywhere. Besides all that, we had a great vacation. FYI We should have received a discount for the six days of inconvenience and dealing with the repair man.

A most beautiful spot and perfect condo

We loved our stay here. I am a particular traveller and this condo was absolutely perfect. Super clean, extremely well provisioned including beach going gear like chairs, umbrella and cooler. The bed was DIVINE. Both beds were very very easy to sleep on - an unexpected but incredibly welcome thing. The views from the balcony are the best in Maui. The best whale spotting was done from the lanai - we could stay here all day. The owners were amazing to deal with - highly, highly recommend staying here.

Great sights and sounds!

We loved this unit! Everything was clean and well maintained. With it being right next to the beach, the sights and sounds were amazing! Whales right outside our huge window and covered lanai! We were able to meet the host Kathy who was very helpful and willing to help with anything we needed. Our only complaint was some noise (very loud at times) from some restoration/remodeling projects which drove us out of the unit a few times, but Kathy told us in advance about this. I believe the projects are winding down so this shouldn’t be an issue much longer. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Views

Condo was a nice size for family or four, stocked with everything we would need. Location was excellent. Loved hearing the sound of the ocean, whale and turtle watching from the huge windows/lanai. Property owners were very accommodative.

Excellent Suite, One Problem

The suite was excellent, well located, well furnished, fantastic view. Normally I would give a five star review..., but: we were unaware that the Mahana was undergoing major construction and every working day there were several hours or more of construction noises (drilling into concrete) from neighbouring suites and those on floors above. Apparently this was work that was intended to have been completed earlier, but speaking to the workman, a final date is not certain (something about having to follow out rusting rebar). The owners were unaware of this and were very accommodating, offered to reduce the rental, which was much appreciated. Anybody who is considering renting in the building in the near future would be advised to check as to whether or not this work has been finished. Again, however, we did find the unit we were in to be excellent and under quieter circumstances would certainly return to it in the future.

Sea Turtles

What an amazing location! We could see sea turtles swimming below us everyday, it was perfect!

Perfect Up Close Ocean View

Low stress beautiful quiet condo that has an almost touch the ocean view from our bedroom window and the living room. Beautiful turtles swimming right below you and we are watching all of the catamarans racing back-and-forth from Lahaina to Lanai is breathtaking

Beautiful views

My wife and I have been to Maui many times and Unit 708 had it all- well supplied, clean and great location. We were walking distance to the Fish Market(the freshest of fish), beaches and if you take the time there are some lovely pockets of coral well within the reach of good swimmers. Oh and the views are better than the website pictures. Highly recommended.
