BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.

IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustments.

Maui Beach Stay

We enjoyed this property and the access to the beach. It felt like our own private beach. The unit was so convenient any it was great to have a kitchen. My only recommendation would be to have a broom and dust pan in the unit to help clean up any left over sand. Very much enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back!

Awesome location in paradise.

Excellent large condo with an outstanding view! We felt at home with great property staff from check in to simply grabbing towels. Two great pools and kids area was safe and immaculate. Condo and property is five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great place for Hawaiian vacation

Resort feel with the amenities of a condo. Well appointed, great location for everything! On site bar and restaurant made ordering and getting food easy when we didn’t want to cook. Property was lovely and the room was great. Would stay here again.

Great spot for a family reunion

Enjoyed our stay. I just wanted to note that the room we got was definitely not the room we reserved. The listing photos showed a room with a mirror image floor plan to ours, different decor, and a different view from the windows. Our room was not well stocked for visitors and most cupboards and closets were locked.

Kaanapali Shores is Picturesque

Traveling with a family, multigenerational, honeymoon? It has something for everyone. It was wonderful to have a kitchen to prepare breakfast, lunch and snacks/drinks to take to the pool. Oceanfront with access to the ocean with a stretch of sandy beach. It was so nice to step into the ocean from the resort. The resort offers everything you need to get your condo up and running. The only thing it doesn't replenish is laundry detergent. We arrived early and the staff did everything they could to make us comfortable while we waited. We headed to the pool, ordered lunch and drinks and our vacation began! WiFi was not very strong anywhere in the resort property, which could make working from there a challenge. They needed to move us to another unit because of plumbing problems and to spread aloha they gave us a food and beverage credit.

Great family location

We really enjoyed this property with our kids aged 14-10. There are two pools and a small beach. Its connected to a much bigger beach. Walking distance to the boardwalk. Near food trucks. Across the street from a grocery store. It was clean and comfortable.

Great location

Friendly staff and great location. We had a few questions prior to our stay and we’re unable by phone or email to reach the owner but it all worked out fine. I would recommend this listing.

Amazing resort, great for families!!

First time in Hawaii and enjoyed every bit of this place, amazing pools, kid friendly and a convenient bar right by the adult pool. We loved the 3 shoppes in the property and my daughter enjoyed the gym, something to do for everyone, loved that the kid pool was so close since the condo is located on the bottom floor. We will stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kaanapali Shores

This was a great experience from check in until check out. Excellent views of the garden and the ocean. This unit is well stocked and very close to amenities. Restaurants, food trucks and beaches were wonderful. We had a great experience!

As advertised

We really enjoyed our stay at Kaanapali Shores. The unit was as advertised. The property was well maintained. The pools were not overcrowded and never a problem finding a spot by the pools. The unit could have had more cleaning supplies like garbage bags or recycling bins.

This property is amazing! This unit is convenient, furnished nicely, clean and simply a home away from home while on the island. I’m not new to VRBO and I can say this amongst the best of the best. Great location and close to everything. We will be back - for sure!
