"A bit of difficulty when it came to conversing in Japanese as we are foreigners but overall was a great stay with good service. The onsen experience was nice. Note that they have a curfew from 10pm to 5am as they do not have electronic key cards implemented for coming in and going out."

"I really like the location of this hotel/onsen. It's right on the river and you can hear and view it as you soak in the onsen or as you're enjoying tea in your room. The staff tried their best to help us in english. Between that and Google we were able to figure things out. "Partner and I shared a room - quite a small space, but totally comfortable for a couple nights! Everything was very clean and tidy, and staff were very friendly. There was a smart TV in the room, and good wifi. They make a good effort for eco-friendliness too! It’s literally a 1-2 minute walk to Aizuwakamatsu Station, and there are plenty of places to eat in the vicinity. They also offer a complimentary breakfast buffet which is lovely! "
