"While I found out that they stopped providing afternoon tea that is still posted on their website, the location is excellent, only 3 minutes away from the charming Bikam district, where you can enjoy the Japanese traditional houses and river side where any generation can find something to enjoy."

"The room was spacious but the carpet seemed a bit dirty. There was an iron shaped burned on it (which I found kinda funny) The heater/air conditioning was not available for guests which was not too bad since it’s not too hot yet but I woke up at night because I was sweating and the only solution was to open the window. Unfortunately, it was very loud outside. My main complaint is that the one pillow provided was incredibly hard and I couldn’t sleep properly. :( but still great location and an okay hotel overall. "

"From the moment we walked into the entrance of the Granvia Hotel in Okayama, the magic began. We were greeted with wide smiles and a “happy to see you!” vibe. The one downer was that the luggage we had sent to this hotel was only partially delivered. The wonderful young lady at the front desk (Sato, Sumire) was very sympathetic and went out of her way to help us find the missing luggage. She called “Sagawa” delivery service and informed them of their mistake. The lady from Sagawa told us that our bag was still in Osaka and that it would be delivered the next day. Fortunately, I had an “Apple Air Tag” in the bag and knew the bag was in their Okayama distribution center. Our missing luggage was delivered to our hotel room within a few hours. We will highly recommend this hotel (Grandvia Okayama) to all our friends and anyone who asks. Again, please send our personal thanks to Ms. Sato, Sumire for her help and kindness. "Breakfast was nice"

"Perfect location, awesome view from the 13th floor, and double glazing keeps it nice and quiet considering it's above the train station (with occasional but non-intrusive muffled train station noises sometimes filtering through). The breakfast is great and has an awesome outlook over the local platforms. The rooms are compact but remain accessible. The pillows are firm and 'feather/pipe straw' style, but surprisingly comfortable with no sore neck or back the next morning."
