We were on the 10th floor looking toward Sakarajima Island. Wonderful view watching the ferrys come and go. Great breakfast and lunch buffet. Also, a high end Japanese restaurant. Lots of izakayas in walking distance. Ferry to the island is a 2000 yen cab ride. Comfortable beds spacious room.

Overall, it was a good stay. Room was fairly clean, but some furnitures were a bit dusty. The view from the balcony was simply amazing and the laundromat was easy to find, convenient and not pricey. Comfortable, and the view is good. The only concern is the location quite not convenient. Overall is good enough. And there is swimming pool, so the value is acceptable.

The room comes with the view of Sakurajima volcano, facing the sea which is good. However, we were not able to open the balcony door due to a hotel notice stating that there are bugs known as "stinky bugs" that are flying around the area. Air conditioner in the room is weak. Beds are still comfortable. Parking is convenient with a fee of 1000yen per night. There is a 7-eleven and family mart located opposite the hotel and about 5 mins drive to a 24hours supermarket. Overall hotel experience is average however Kagoshima is a nice city.

Old Hotel, 70s and not renovated, low price has a reason. The onsen in pictures and pool were dirty green algae water! Breakfast was standard Japanese Parking on premises available Location not central and hard to reach near the port.
