Room was okay but had odd features like none of the cabinets opening. And they don’t supply anything like dishes or silverware. The shower gets the toilet soaking wet. The building is a bit run down feeling, elevators take SOOOO long. Would not recommend.

This hotel was really good, the location is nice and the staff really are helpful. Everything is new and clean. Make sure when you book you request a nice view ahead of time, my one complaint is that I did not have a very inspiring view.

My wife and I enjoyed our 4-night stay at the FAV LUX Kagoshima. We had a nice, spacious (bunk-style) room on the 11th floor, which offered a partial view of Sakurajima. Quick check in at 3:00 p.m. I was asked (via email a few days before we arrived) to complete a pre-check in, which seemed to save time. The hotel doesn't have parking, but we were able to park our rental car in one of the nearby pay lots (1,500 yen for one night). Plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. The airport bus (1,500 yen one way) stops about four blocks away. The trams too stop nearby (170 yen for one ride whether one goes one or many stops). We didn't use the restaurant or sauna, so I cannot comment on them. Though it was November and chilly outside, for some reason, our room was quite warm even after the sun went down; one night, we had to turn on the AC for an hour. Washer/dryer in the room, which we used once. Soft bed with soft pillows. On our next visit to Kagoshima, we will certainly consider staying at the FAV LUX again. Thanks!

Beautiful property right in the vibe of town down. I felt safe to walks around in the early morning and I loved the downtown feel st night. Boxes breakfasts were a real treat as we set on the patio and watch the volcano explode

Sparkling clean & comfortable stay. Very new hotel, they have everything you need. If you can travel smart and figure things out on your own- this is the best option for you. It is a good deal for what I am paying for. Having a coffee truck in front of the hotel is cool.

Very good location in Tenmonkan. An efficient process overall with a check in code (rather than worrying about a card!). The focus on modernity and efficiency means you miss out on having the lovely service of a good hotel. Decent breakfast and helpful staff should you have any questions. Would suggest sending instructions for check in in advance as it is all automated

オシャレな省力化した東横イン。チェックインからチェックインまでQRコードで完結。部屋のアメニティと部屋着をフロントで自分で取るスタイルも、2泊程度で室内の清掃が無い点も東横イン。 東横インと異なる点は、建物の仕様がホテルでは無く、マンションのようであらゆるものが薄い印象。部屋は広く近代的で綺麗。バスタブは無くシャワーのみ。　部屋からの眺望は、中層階では悪い。　ホテルは再開発がされているが周辺の未開発の老朽化したバラックのような建物が視界に入る。最上階のレストランからは桜島見えるので、高層階になれば景観は良いのかもしれない。 朝食は、3種のメニューから選べる。いずれも注文後に作り始められ、見た目も美しく美味しい。ちゃんとしたレストランで食事ができる点は東横インとは違いとても良い。 ロケーションは良く、悪い。天文館近隣で周辺にコンビニもスーパーもドンキホーテもあり買い物には困らない。飲食店も多く、交通も便利。だが、近隣歓楽街で、一番使い勝手に良い文化通りは客引きと無料案内所が立ち並ぶ風俗街なので、子連れの方やカップルの方歩きにくいだろう。

Fav Lux is going to be one of our favorite hotels. Only a year old, everything is clean, brand new smell. Our room cam with a kitchenette. The toilet was separate, which is amazing, the bathroom was very spacious. Overall, the room was one of the largest ones we have stayed at so far. Highly recommended.

Hatte ein sehr schönes Zimmer am Eck mit wunderbaren Blick auf den Vulkan. Leider hatte ich etwas Pech mit dem Wetter. Sonst ein sehr gute Gegend mit vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten die zu Fuß erreichbar sind oder auch für Abends einige Bars in der Nähe. Egal ob Hafen, Aquarium oder Museen eigentlich könnte man alles zu Fuß erreichen. Das Hotel selber wirkte sehr neu. Die Zimmer sehr sehr gut eingerichtet und sauber. Kann dieses Hotel nur jeden empfehlen

Es handelt sich um ein sehr sauberes Hotel in zentraler Lage. Unser erstes Zimmer hatte ein Problem mit dem Abfluss, aufgrund dieser Unannehmlichkeit gewährte uns das Hotelpersonal jedoch ein großzügiges Upgrade in eine höhere Zimmerkategorie. Dieses Zimmer war hervorragend. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen und bietet fußläufig viele Möglichkeiten. Einziger Minuspunkt waren die unbequemen Kopfkissen der Betten. Insgesamt waren wir jedoch zufrieden und würden wieder hier übernachten bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Kagoshima.
