We were very happy with the condo in general. It’s just as pictured, and only steps away from a great beach. The two downsides we encountered were:Neither toilet when we got there. That was rough after a whole day of traveling.I reached out to the maintenance company because we thought the toilets were backed up. They responded quickly, and said there had been some maintenance workers there that day, and maybe they had forgotten to turn the water back on. We were able to turn the valves to get them back on, but had very low flushing pressure all week.The elevator was out of order, and has been for weeks. This condo is on the 8th floor! It’s hard to pack all of that luggage up that many flights, not to mention how many times one leaves an apartment each day. I would recommend checking to see if the elevator is fixed before booking this specific condo.Even with those two issues, we’d absolutely stay in this condo again.

Well maintained property with plenty of space for me, my husband, an elderly mother. Apartment was well stocked. Amazing views of lana’i and some nice sunsets. Very quick response from property management to minor issue. Be aware that second bedroom does not really have an accessible window so the air conditioner must be used for airflow. Would recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo and would give it five stars across the board! The location was perfect - central to everything we wanted to do in Maui which made getting around so easy. The property itself had more than enough to keep everyone entertained. While we didn’t use all of the resort amenities, we did enjoy the pool, games room, and restaurant, all of which were great.The actual unit was way bigger than we expected, with plenty of space for our family of four. The views were absolutely spectacular and something we looked forward to every single day. The condo was also extremely well equipped - there was more than enough in terms of kitchen supplies, and the puzzles, games, and beach equipment were such a thoughtful and appreciated bonus.We would highly recommend this condo to anyone planning a Maui vacation. It truly made our trip even more special!

Great location, beautiful place!

We recently enjoyed a fabulous stay at this property. The condo's location was perfect, boasting spacious rooms and breathtaking views, including whales and turtles from our balcony. The resort's amenities, like the pool and beach, added much to our enjoyment.We noticed the floors were a bit dirty upon arrival but didn’t report it, not realizing it was an option. The rest of the property was spotless. We appreciated the responsiveness of the management and host and will reach out for any future concerns.While we didn't use the available grills this time, we're excited to try them on our next visit. The resort's restaurant was decent and convenient. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we highly recommend this place. We look forward to returning, knowing any issues will be promptly handled by the attentive management.

Gorgeous Property

Our family of 6 stayed at this property for 5 nights and loved it the entire time. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the condo as sometimes the wide angle lensed pictures look bigger in the pictures than in person. This is on the 8th floor with only one unit above it. We loved being up high away from the beach and pool noise. There was plenty of room for us. We also appreciated the use of the "toy" closet with snorkels, beach chairs, cooler, umbrellas and noodles. Most of all we were constantly amazed at the beautiful views; rainbows, sea turtles, whales, the beach. It was gorgeous!

Excellent property

Property was very clean, overlooking the beach. I spent every morning drinking coffee & watching the snorkeling in the bay. Property had a nice pool & hot tub. Property had very good restaurant next to the pool. Air conditioning was adequate, room was beautiful. Kitchen was fully stocked lots of cabinet space. Our stay could not have been better, thank you for your hospitality. It's a 5 star property.

Worth every penny!!

This was by far the most beautiful location I have ever seen in my life. The condo is clean, comfortable and has everything you could need ready for you. The view can't be beat! Even if the condo had been basic the view alone would've made it all worth it. Lots of room for your family and friends. We took our two boys (12 &15) and my mother. The five of us had the best time and wished we had stayed here longer. The grounds are nice and the condo is in good proximity to shopping and dining. (McDonald's too, for people with kids or a budget). I'd love to go back and never leave!! Thank you so much for such a wonderful spot to vacation!

Great Property Horrible Experience

The condo was beautiful and exactly as expected. Bravo to the owner. Property Manager - awful….elevator broken when we arrived, had to go up 8 flights of steps with all luggage and daughter, on crutches. Only positive, a maintenance person assisted us. No water at all first day of stay. Both property manager and realtor were majorly unsympathetic. Lower property management owned floors, restaurant, downstairs showers all had water. Yes, we confirmed with multiple people. None of the upper privately owned units had water. Some people were without water for 4+ days. Wasn’t until we got vocal that amazingly water started making it to our floor but in the end they accused us of being the bad guys. Paid way too much money to be treated in such an “oh well, sucks for you manner.” Would not stay again due to that lack of customer service and understanding.

The building is a little run down . The roof needs fixing and the building itself needs updating . The apartment is lovely but the floors were not clean .If I walked barefoot inside my feet were black ! Friendly and helpful management .

Piece of Paradise!

What a beautiful place! We stayed with our family of 4 and enjoyed it so much. Besides the INCREDIBLE view, it was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for the week. We especially enjoyed the closet stocked with beach amenities including chairs, cooler, snorkeling gear and pool noodle (my daughter's favorite!). Would absolutely recommend to anyone traveling to Maui!

Incredible Place

This condo is beyond amazing. The views are absolutely stunning and we loved watching sea turtles swim around from the lanai. It is even more beautiful than the pictures show. It was great to have the coolers, beach chairs, and boogie boards as well. It was a perfect vacation and I hope we can stay here again in the future!

Great west end condo!

This place was perfect for our family. Our two teen boys had large beds (not cramped on small twin beds that seem to be the norm at other rentals). The unit is clean, all appliances worked great, and a nice closet with recreation and beach toys. Trying to figure out the tv remote was a little wonky, but otherwise the Wi-Fi and other technology was fine. The view is probably the best thing about the unit. Expansive views across the ocean and observing sea turtles near the beach from the balcony was the norm every day. I imagine a visit during the winter would be spectacular for whale watching. It’s a short walk to convenient nearby shops for eats, drinks, or surfboard rentals. Parking slots were easy to find for our rental car although the spaces are kind of narrow. Be prepared to work on your parking skills. It’s an easy drive from the condo to access all parts of the island. To and from the airport (OGG) was a breeze. It is short five to ten minute drive to some great snorkeling sites, and a bit further to the top of Haleakala. All told, it is a great place to stay on Maui.

Can’t wait to return!

Our stay at Sands of Kahana was nothing less than exceptional! From the initial renting of the condo to our stay, Epic Reality was wonderful. The condo itself 100% lives up to the pictures that are listed. Not to mention the most amazing views we have seen, EVER! Updated, clean, beautiful grounds and fully loaded….we most definitely will return!

Great property

This was property was beautiful inside and out. The views were amazing from the windows and lanai. Kitchen was well equipped with essentials. Liked the quick access to the beach and how it was not so crowded like many other areas. Kiddie pool was a plus for those who have little ones. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone and even consider coming back in the future.

Great place.

Nicely updated place, with extras and everything needed to fully enjoy our time there! Saw turtles off the deck. Good location to great snorkel spots! Had a great visit.

Amazing oceanfront stay

Unit matched well with photos (in a good way - often this isn't the case!). Very well maintained! Quite spacious, overlooking the ocean/beach and the pool. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!!

View was excellent. Screen doors to Lanai do not close well. King bed was not comfortable. Overall good location. Still some beach to access which was good. Restaurant was good and convenient.
