"Fantastic set piece Japanese breakfast if that’s what you’re after. Rooms well designed and relatively large. But for all the focus on food, onsen, etc, don’t neglect the basics, like not leaving hair in the bedrooms and cleaning the walls properly. Cleanliness a definite negative. The design of the hotel with the small floating reception area also made it feel somewhat impersonal in my opinion."

"Right next to the train station and all the bus terminals, shopping and tons of restaurants in the station. The hotel is clean and the staff was very helpful. The room is the standard size but the bathroom is spacious. A 7-11 is on the first floor of the hotel and there is a super market at the station."

"Ideally situated to visit all tourist attractions in the area. Room was a good size and clean"

"Parking was offsite and we didnt know that we could go around back to unload luggage then go park so we walked quite a bit with all of our luggage. Check-in was easy but super crowded with foreigners. They put all the amenities next to the frontdesk and that area gets very crowded which blocks access the lobby and the elevator. I was pinned in the corner by foreigners for sometime because of this setup. Recommend it be moved. The room was large and had a proper king bed that was midly comfortable. The breakfast was overpriced so we opted to go to the market down the street instead. Checkout was much easier knowing we could park behind the hotel for a few. "

"The hotel is very well located for rail station, castle, gardens, market and Samurai district. All very walkable. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Luggage transfer system makes travelling easier. The hotel information on where to eat was helpful. Room was small, although expected. Good value for money."
