"Pros: (1) Price. The price was lower for any other one-bedroom in that condo complex, and since the living room was turned into another bedroom, 3-4 adults could stay with relative privacy. (2) Location. It is within walking distance of Turtle Bay resort, and an easy drive to everything else on the North Shore. Middling: Communication, which varied from clear and quick, to cryptic, to non-existent. I'd planned to book three of Vanessa's condos. One did not have any pictures of the outside, so I messaged her to ask for the specific location. She did not respond, despite repeated messages. I booked a second condo (VRBO #4707908), then when I dug down into the reviews, found one that said that even though the listing placed it in Kuilima Estates, it was actually on Sunset Beach. I reached out to her and she confirmed it was on Sunset Beach. I said I would need to cancel since the condo wasn't where the listing said it was, and she said that was fine, but then insisted she could not cancel it and I had to contact vrbo. While on the phone with vrbo they repeatedly called her and she would answer the phone and refuse to speak to them. It took multiple supervisors to get the cancelation approved since she would not verbally confirm. But, once we arrived at the condo, she was very responsive. Cons: The cleanliness. The closets (and beach towels inside) smelled moldy, and other reviewers have posted pictures of dirt on the airconditioning units, which has not changed."
