"Overall, the Grand Wailea is a great hotel, however, as a guest you feel like you’re just a cog in the machine. We had a great time, but never felt that over the top service / experience that you would expect for a hotel with the reputation that it has / costs as much as it does"

"Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. On the first day, my room was not cleaned at all. The second day, I went out and came back, and it still hadn’t been cleaned. When I asked housekeeping, I was told that my room was scheduled to be cleaned around 4:00 PM. After asking several more times, someone finally came, but it shouldn’t have taken repeated requests. "Although it was just for one night, the hotel is amazing and the staff is so very helpful. The pictures on Expedia is incorrect. I requested a 2 queen bedroom. One of the pictures provided shows two queen beds and a living room, this is what I thought I was getting. Per hotel staff, picture is incorrect, they viewed the Expedia photo and apologized for the error, said the picture and description is incorrect."

"This was the first time that I stayed in Kahului when on Maui, and I highly recommend this new property for travelers. It's newly constructed and the rooms and premises reflect that. My one bedroom was quite large, and I was happy with it. The breakfast buffet was an extra perk and quite generous. It is right on the waterfront and very scenic. It's great for families and large groups."

"I was informed by staff that pool was closed, and I needed to inform them to use the pool two hotels away. Also the hotel maid came pounding on my door at 9am and even opened the door (she said excuse me) but I got in around 1:30 am that morning and was told 12:00pm was check out, I really didn’t appreciate this. But other than that everything was good."
