"Had the best week stay here at the Kona Coast Resort. I would definitely recommend it to others. Everyone was so friendly and quick to respond to housekeeping services. The little restaurant up by the check-in office is delicious. We had breakfast there almost everyday. The location so super convenient. We were 5 minutes away from the beach we spent the most time snorkeling at and 15 min from some amazing restaurants with beautiful sunset views. Thank you a great experience!!"

"This was a great hotel! My family and I wished we could have extended our stay just so we could have taken advantage of the activities that were offered like the lei making and cultural tour. The gardens were so pretty and we loved the benches and Adirondack chairs randomly around the property. The slide was super fun and the views were spectacular! Will definitely book with Outrigger again!"

"We’ve been staying at Kona Islander since 2008 and have stayed in several different units over the years. We keep coming back because we love the location and atmosphere, and the staff during this visit were absolutely wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We had a great stay overall. Our main disappointment with this particular unit was that it did not have a hot plate or small stovetop. One of the reasons we choose Kona Islander instead of a traditional hotel is the ability to prepare meals during longer stays. We stayed for 10 days and went to Costco planning to make many of our breakfasts, lunches, and dinners in the room, but with only a microwave, we couldn’t do that as planned. This unit also had only a small refrigerator, while other units we’ve stayed in at the property had a full-size refrigerator and freezer. That was less important to us, but worth mentioning. We would absolutely stay at Kona Islander again. We just hope the owner considers adding a hot plate or small stovetop to this unit. That one addition would have made an otherwise wonderful stay even better."
