Kona Reef Condo on Beach with Ocean View, Wifi, King bed & Elevator

Our fabulous condo at the Kona Reef overlooks Honl's Beach Park and the beautiful turquoise blues and greens of the crystal clear ocean. From the 3rd floor lanai complete with ceiling fan, you have a fantastic palm-dotted view of the sand and the surf. You can watch the surfers and boogie boarders perform in the waves or spot an occasional sea turtle near the shore. In the winter, you may even spot some whales breeching offshore.

Inside, the condo has been decorated with the natural elements of the island. Bamboo walls and tropical colors add to the ambiance of this unique spot on the Big Island and remind you of the paradise that awaits you outside. The bedroom comes complete with a romantic king-size bed. The living room has a sofa-sleeper for extra guests. The full kitchen is complete with all of the amenities of home. We have spared no expense to make sure that you temporary home in paradise is one that you will want to retun to year after year.

There are so many things to do on the Big Island and the Kona Reef is located within walking distance to many attractions including lots shops and restaurants. You can choose between water activities such as swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, and boogie boarding. You can kayak, fish, or just take a walk along the beach and explore the tidal pools. If you are more adventuous, you can try parasailing or take a look at the vocanoe by helicoptor or plane. There is also golf, dinner cruises and of course, just sitting on the beach with a good book.

Our condo is a perfect place to enjoy all that the activities that the Big Island has to offer.

We had a great time staying in this lovely condo. Lanai opens to a nice beach view from where you’ll hear the gentle waves. Everything was nice and tidy, well stocked and prepared. Communication was a breeze too. We loved every part of our stay!

Perfect location!

Kathy’s condo was ideal for our vacation. I have to agree with other reviews that blackout blinds in the bedroom would be great, as the outside lights do light up the room. That aside, this is the best place in the area. It’s close enough for an easy walk to restaurants, and it’s right on a fun little beach. I went from standing in the waves to swimming in the pool to totally relaxing in the hot tub. We had a lot of active days, and we usually chose easy prep/deli foods for dinner as sitting on our lanai listening to the waves was the perfect way to spend our evenings. The condo was super clean when we arrived; the furniture is all very comfortable, and everything we needed to spend time at the beach was available (chairs, coolers, snorkeling gear, towels.) The pool/bbq/common area is spacious and well-kept. I had a few questions in my planning and while we were there, and Kathy always responded promptly. If we ever return to the Big Island, we’ll definitely stay here. Thanks Kathy!

Big Time on Big Island!!!!

Property was in great shape 👌 when we arrived. Walking distance to town. View was AWSOME!! Beach was swimable.🏊‍♂️ Just had to watch water entry. HAD A GREAT TIME THERE!!!!! 🙂

Wonderful Vacation

Very comfortable, clean and overall nice condo. We enjoyed the lani every morning eating fresh fruit and drinking coffee and watching the waves. The pool area is great and parking was never a problem! We would stay here again!!

Nice property and good location. Walking distance to some great restaurants and shops. Somewhat noisy due to busy road but we enjoyed the oceanfront location and the pool.

Amazing View, Great Location

The beach front view is beautiful. Food and shopping all within walking distance. Central location for day excursions. Well appointed kitchen and laundry. We especially appreciated the laundry being in the condo. Highly recommend and will come back!

Great location!

The Honl’s Beach next door was a real plus! You can see it from the lanai and they had “drop in” yoga there every morning at 8 am. Kathy has beach chairs for your use. The pool and hot tub were great also as I did my laps every day. Being able to walk around Kailua Kona was a plus for shopping and eating and I would definitely recommend Lava-Java and the historic Kona Inn for dinner! Kathy was very accommodating and easy to communicate with!

Kona condo

Beautiful location off smaller beach, fun to watch surfers and visitors every morning. Smaller set up inside condo but perfect for a couple. Bed was comfortable but windows above bed had lights that were pretty bright at night. We ended up not having toilet paper or paper towels stoked so had to grab ourselves from the store. Close walking distance to several shopping area’s and restaurants. Overall we had a good stay.

Great location and view. Everything you could want in a vacation condo and then some. Breakfast on the lanai every morning was glorious, sunsets by the pool amazing. Owner very easy to contact and work with. No complaints - loved it!

Great location and value for money!

Two friends and I went for a girls getaway (all in our 20s) we loved the fact the condo had a very central location and was within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The condo itself looks out over a little sandy beach which you can swim in. Everything that we could possibly need was provided and we had nothing to worry about except having a good time!

Awesome place

One of the best rentals ever! Saw humpback whales from our deck. Chairs along ocean to watch sunset. Place was super clean, bed was comfortable, and kitchen and bath were well-stocked. Walking distance to Kona restaurants. Convenient to many beaches and attractions. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to the Big Island.

Ideal location to walk Kona-Kailua and explore Big Island

This was an incredible location to utilize as a home base to stay in Kailua Kona. Very easy walk to Huggos and Huggos on the Rocks and an easy walk to all the shops and other restaurants. The pool and hot tub and ocean view were very nice from the common areas and the private balcony overlooking the public beach was great to drink coffee or have late night drink. Everything works here and the owner is extremely accessible and easy to work with. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely Piece of Paradise

This Kona Reef condo was beautifully decorated and in the best location in Kona. We saw inside many other units and this was one of the most nicely appointed. It was worth every penny and more. Don't hesitate to stay!
