Wonderful Stay

Spacious condo with great view, close to town and had all the amenities and supplies needed for our stay. Beautiful sunsets right from the lanai. Chris is a great host, highly recommend his place!

Beautiful remodeled condo with great views. The property is well taken care of by staff. The owner Chris is extremely nice and very helpful and responds quickly to any questions or concerns. Would definitely recommend and return for another stay!

Big Island....Fun and Adventure

This condo was exactly has described. Location was perfect for seeing all of the sights on the Big Island. There was snorkeling gear, and anything else you needed for the beach. Everything you may need has been thought of. Great rental.

Great Location, amazing views!

My wife and I stayed here for just under a week and we loved its proximity to downtown Kona. We would see dolphins in the morning if we happened to be out on the lanai drinking our coffee. The condo had all the amenities you could ask for during your stay. The owner was an absolute pleasure to deal with. All in all my wife and I had a fantastic stay here and would happily come back to this condo!

Perfect!

The condo was a perfect addition to the amazing scenery. The view from this space must be the best of all the condos. Shortly after we arrived, we witnessed a beautiful sunset and things just got better! The hosts have thought of everything, so check it out BEFORE you go shopping! I can’t say enough about this place!

A Real Gem

First off, the owner was extremely helpful and courteous. We found the description in the VRBO website to be understated if anything. The unit was nicely decorated and had an awesome view of the garden and ocean as shown on the website. The kitchen was fully functional with more dishes, etc. than needed. The queen bed was comfortable. The bedroom has an air conditioner although we never turned it on, there being adequate fans throughout. There is a mini market in walking distance although a car is necessary to get to town, Safeway, Walmart, etc. If we ever return to the big island, we'd stay in this unit again for sure.

Review of our stay at Chris Greene's condo

Chris was an excellent and responsive host. The location of the unit and its view of the ocean are great. Everything worked well (except for one cabinet door that fell off), but most of the furnishings are, I would say, well used. There is a lot of noise from traffic, poor sound-proofing of the units, people talking, etc. The bedroom would really benefit from air conditioning. It was challenging to make it comfortable for sleeping using a combination of fan setting, window opening, and bed covers. But, all in all, it was a great place to stay and we very much enjoyed our visit.

Well maintained, clean, comfortable, oceanside condo with many amenities, close to downtown Kona!

We spent 3 weeks in the condo and just loved it and the surrounding areas! Chris has gone to great lengths to ensure his guests enjoy their stay here - many treats and fresh fruit on arrival and many staples included in his fully equipped condo! The location in the complex is fabulous and is exactly how the pictures show it! All the meals we prepared in the condo were enjoyed on the lanai as well as many beautiful sunsets. The BBQ, picnic area and pool are all well maintained and used often....also a great spot for sunset photos! Chris was genuinely interested in making our stay memorable - when he learned our granddaughter was visiting us for 1 week, he called to ask what her shoe size was so he could make sure she had proper fitting snorkel equipment - now that is great customer service! Many water toys such as boogie board, beach chairs and mats and snorkel equipment were in the lanai storage area. We travelled to many parts of the island and thoroughly enjoyed the diversity it offers - the volcano, many waterfalls, south point, black sand beach, Waipi'o Valley and many other scenic views. A highlight was the lu'au at the Royal Kona (walking distance)! Also enjoyed many restaurants during our stay - The Blue Room, Bubba Gump's Shrimp Co, Royal Thai Restaurant, Monstera Noodles, Kona Brewing Co and fresh Sushi from Wasabi in Downtown Kona. Thank you Chris for sharing your Kona home with us! We will definitely refer it to family and friends!

Great Honeymoom Spot

Best Stay in Kona

The stay was just what we wanted. When we arrived the property manager had food available for us since we arrived late in the day. The property was like the photos and very clean. Everything we could have needed the property provided. The property manager was easy to get ahold of if we needed anything and was very helpful and kind. My husband and I would stay there again. It was everything we were looking for and some. We are so thankful to have found this property and are looking forward to returning there again!

Awesome!!

This condo has everything ! It’s spacious, all completely new & beautiful. It is home away from home with new all Bosch appliances & all the amenities you could want. It’s also very quiet. The TempurPedic bed was wonderful. We stayed here from 3/1-3/15, 2024 & will go back in a heartbeat. The ocean view is gorgeous. Sad to leave the island now as we sit at the airport awaiting our flight.

Relaxing Ocean view

We had good relaxing stay at Chris's condo. The Condo was well equipped and everything was in good functioning order, clean and ready to go when we arrived. The view from the lanai is wonderful ! A ceiling fan keeps you cool in the afternoon. The artwork in the condo is well thought out. It can get a little warm in the late afternoon but cooled off in the evening. The unit's bedroom faces the road and you will have some road noise but it was not a problem after 9-10 pm. There was plenty of snorkel gear and good quality beach chairs for outdoor activities. The grounds are well cared for and you can see Chris takes care of his place. I have been to number of ocean view condos and they need extra love to keep them in good order and Chris does that in this place. The bathroom has a large walk in shower in an updated bathroom. There was one door under the kitchen sink that was out for repair, but this was not any problem for us. Actually it worked out well since the galley kitchen is tight. Chris was super fast on the booking response and checked in with us to make sure all was good. Glen Glen

Aloha! Best Kona location !

Our stay was better than anticipated, very well equipped condo with everything we needed including all the beach toys to use! Fresh fruit was waiting for us on our arrival too. Easiest check in we've experienced in our travels to Hawaii. Very close to shops, restaurants, and downtown. The free trolly was a surprise and could be picked up right across the street. We walked to most places and enjoyed the views along the way. Chris, the owner, was available anytime we we reached out. Very responsive! We will be back!

Perfect spot for relaxing

This condo was perfectly situated about a mile from town making it an easy walk to shops and restaurants. It was well appointed making it easy to cook meals with easy access to the BBQ area. The pool area was very nice and the other guests were very friendly. The owner was extremely helpful, giving easy directions to the unit and making check in effortless. We look forward to going back soon.

Common condo grounds were well located and very clean. during our visit, the spa was out of order, pool was not heated during winter. Our unit was quite dated, needed an update,and serious cleaning. one kitchen cabinet door was broken and missing. To the credit of our owner, he credited our payment for $200 due to a rain date. overall Kona was welcoming and beautiful, many beaches, restaurants, and sites.

Perfect place to stay when visiting the island!

The condo was perfect! Great location. We were able to take day trips all around the island and come back to the condo to relax and enjoy the beautiful ocean view. We had everything we needed. The owner was terrific and gave us suggestions for places to eat, and activities to partake in. They were all excellent. We would definitely come back and stay here again.
