Welcome to beautiful Hale Lula o' Nai'a (House of the Dolphins) on Alii Drive, ocean front retreat!
Located on Alii Drive in Kailua Kona just north of Kahalu'u Beach Park, a great place for surfing, paddle boarding and snorkeling. Two ocean front suites (both with King Size beds) on each end of the home, provide privacy and plenty of space.

Hale Lula o' Nai'a is close to beaches, shopping, a movie theater, and golf course. This home has also been well maintained and is beautifully furnished with great beachy island touches. Enjoy 180-degree ocean view!

Kahalu'u Bay is just a 2-minute walk from your front door and is great for swimming, snorkeling, and sunning. White Sands Beach Park is just a mile away. Enjoy the spas and restaurants at the Sheraton, which is just 5 minutes south. Experience a luau and enjoy the sunset over the ocean. Watch the Manta Rays perform their graceful ballet from Rays on the Bay at the Sheraton.

Kona / Keauhou
The sunny Kona district is known for its clear waters and historic Hawaiian landmarks such as the Hulihe’e Palace, Moku’aikaua Church and Ahu’ena Heiau, about 8 miles south of the keahole-Kona Airport.  Kona is also known for its famous deep-sea fishing, annually hosting the International Billfish Tournament (August), world championship triathlon race, ironman (October) and Kona coffee in the cooler upland slopes. Enjoy daily activities such as  snorkeling, diving, paddling, watching spinner dolphins and Hawaiian sea turtles casually swimming by the beach, or watch the boats go by while having a meal or a cocktail on Alii drive.

Keauhou Bay is located at the end of Kamehameha III Road, southern kailua Kona, named as the site of the birthplace of King Kamehameha III.

Known for perfect water for swimming, canoeing, kayaking and snorkeling, manta sightings and ocean adventures.

Sunrise to sunset this home is spectacular! Going to bed and waking up that close to the ocean was a dream. It's close to the road, but the ocean is louder than any passing cars. The walk to the nearby beach park couldn't have been easier. And the KITCHEN, wow, the best stocked kitchen we've ever had. A truly special place.

Spent 10 days at this house, it was exactly as described. Clear communication before I arrived, easy to check-in, and clean well-maintained property. The back deck is absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed the sunsets each evening. Definitely would stay here again, very much worth it!

Perfect for solo travelers that don't want to deal with a whole mess of people in a hotel. Loved waking up to the sound of crashing waves and planning my day on the lanai with a cup of coffee. Snorkel and surf is just a few steps away at Kahului Bay. I was greeted by the property manager Adriana who made sure I found my around the house. Looking forward to coming back!!

Hale Lula is a beautiful home with the most outstanding view of the Pacific Ocean. The kitchen was lovely and well stocked. We enjoyed the barbecue pit and dining on the front porch. The furnishings are very nice and comfortable. Luva was nice to work with.

Well laid out house with great amenities. The view is beautiful and the kitchen well stocked. It’s important to note that each bedroom has a private ac but no ac in the common areas. There are lots of breezes and we were not hot but it can get a bit humid .

We absolutely loved this home. Unreal location - feels like the ocean is all yours. Super convenient to stores, restaurants, etc., but also a great launching spot for off-grid adventures. It is right on Ali'i Drive, as others have noted, and at times you will hear traffic; but the wall provides decent privacy and most of the time any road noise is canceled out by the sounds of the surf. Management was awesome to deal with. Really a great spot and we will happily return.

We could not have asked for a better property to visit during our stay on the Big Island. The deck is even better than the photos! Amazing sunsets, calming sound of the ocean, and a warm breeze all the time. The kitchen was well stocked, shower had amazing water pressure, and the bed is comfortable. The location is great to visit the entire island, close to restaurants and the airport while feeling like you are on a private island once in the house. They even had beach chairs and towels to use, which was so convenient. I’d return to the Big Island again for the sole reason to stay at this home again!

My husband and I had an amazing stay at Hale Lula! The home is well appointed with anything you could possibly need on vacation, including beach gear. We loved having an outdoor shower to rinse off all of the sand and salt after a day at the beach. The bed was was extremely comfortable and, although A/C was available, we slept great with just the ceiling fan. The property is conveniently located right on Ali'i. The road does get busy at times but we never heard the traffic over the sound of the waves. We spent most of our time taking in the view from the rocking chairs on the lanai. The sunsets here are breathtaking! All in all, we had an amazing stay and can't wait to return.

Needs a few upgrades (dryer required pliers to operate and dishwasher was hard to get started as well). Beds, furniture, especially the porch were homey! Everthing about this unit, the process, the lanai, the stocked kitchen, the thoughtfulness of everything there, and the management was perfect. The road noise is hard to deal with, but you do have the ocean to cancel it out. The road noise started at 6 AM and woke me up every day. The property managers can’t manage this, but there is a really loud dog across the street. However, I would still go back and stay there again because it’s so beautiful and the property has everything you could think of. Additionally, we saw whales off of our deck every day. Last, we could walk to two different beautiful beaches.
