Knowing in advance that there were no grocery shops or dining options would have been nice (I didn't see this at time of booking, but we were told when arriving). Owners were lovely and communitive. "As a family of 3 adults we had the unique opportunity to stay a nite each in both rooms advertised due to an online booking glitch. Thankfully this was quickly resolved and we enjoyed a comfortable stay. Comfy beds, fresh linen and towels were made available for both rooms. Great shower pressure as well as cooking facilities for the smaller room but a bonus with a self - contained kitchen in the studio (studio has no view of harbour). "We loved our stay at Breakview. A beautiful spot with great views. We appreciated the little touches. Instructions right where they needed to be was great. The kids loved it and weren't phased by the walk up the hill back from the beach. Ahipara itself is lovely and we wished we'd had longer to soak it all up and enjoy the bach. Probably the best holiday rental we've stayed in."
