"Good: this place has everything to be 5 star experience. Breakfast is spectacular. Best pillows and sheets. Clean and up-to-date interior. Young staff that tries their best, but who seem to be mostly in training. Bad: promissed pool and outdoor balcony are closed for renovation. In spite of reservation saying “city view” they put us on the 2nd floor with zero view and construction going on. When requested to change they said maybe they can upgrade for 50 euro, but they don’t know what floor and when, so we ended up staying where we were. We arrived early jet legged and were promised a room by noon. Had to wait for 2 hours and had till 2.40pm instead. Stick to regular 3pm checking and don’t trust their promises."

"Effective communication with check in or anything you need"

"We had a tight turn around in Athens and the hotel was great at arranging shuttles to and from the airport to fit our schedule. We were only in the room for about 6 hours, but everything was in order, Staff at the hotel and the shuttle drivers were friendly and helpful."

"This is a nice stay the airport and the transfers are great. Villa was clean and had everything you would need. Transport to dinner and a great seaside restaurant was a very pleasant surprise."

"Front desk staff and bellhops were very helpful. This is our second time staying at this sofitel hotel. We stayed the night before our flight, hotel is directly across from airport and very easy to navigate hotel to airport. Staff from hotel loaded our luggage on a cart from our room (even though it was 3am) and pushed luggage cart to road, encouraged us to take cart into airport and leave it there after we checked in our luggage. We were impressed at this exceptional service-especially in the middle of the night! We will definitely stay here again when in Athens."

"Probably the nicest Holiday Inn I've stayed at. Too bad i was only there for 6 hours. Good place to stay if traveling through the Athens airport."

"The hotel staff were extremely helpful and responsive. The amenities were excellent. Location is centrally located and in a great area with a lot of restaurants nearby. We greatly enjoyed our stay and our family of 5 with 3 teenagers could not be happier with our stay. The hotel is highly accessible to public transportation and within walking distance to several attractions. We will definitely stay again."

"Horrible service "

"The room was not presented as pictured. The picture of that room shows 2 couches. There was just one couch and a cot with no sheets. The one couch was very uncomfortable. The pillows left for the cot were stained and had no pillowcases. It was raining, and brown water leaked through the windows. Ceiling had old fluorescent lighting with several bulbs burned out. Elevator door did not open on the last day, and there were bags of concrete sitting on the stairs blocking them."
