The very good and friendly welcome of the owners. The historic house-hotel very well renoveted, the nice décoration inside, the old furniture , the special atmosphere of the place and the good breakfast

It’s a special place and beautifully renovated mansion. The bed was large enough and comfortable with modern amenities with high ceiling, big windows, a/c. Breakfast was delicious with variety of local specialties. It’s very well located to the nearest central square with restaurants, and shops. Nearby open farmers market and the old town as well as the Castle. Definitely recommend it and would love to be back again!

A unique building that was fully restored keeping the character of the original building which was beautiful. Unfortunately due to the fact that is a listed building and due to the regulations you can’t change anything which means that you don’t have an elevator which makes it difficult using the stairs when you have a large luggage. The owners were very polite, attentive and helpful willing to help us with any request we had. The breakfast was based on local ingredients and was delicious (especially the cheese pie). The breakfast room was beautiful but unfortunately due to the regulations until now the owners didn’t have a permit to add air conditioning in this room and it was very warm as outside temperatures were above 30C. However we were told that they finally got approval so it should not be an issue in the future. We would definitely return to this hotel the next time we will visit Kalamata.
