"This property is part of a duplex with tenants on the other side. The bathroom is downstairs, but the bedrooms are upstairs, so just a tad bit inconvenient. Upstairs windows do not have screens so it was too warm. Twin bed mattresses need some sort of mattress pad between the sheet and the foam. Towels were threadbare, and only three towels provided. Property did not have toilet paper and the smoke alarm was missing when we first arrived. Communication was initially difficult with owner since...

"The host was very responsive to questions and accommodating with requests we had. It is a duplex as other the other review stated, but we had the large backyard to ourselves and felt private. Kayaking along the river is a must, lots of nature to see. The town is a 5 minute drive so you are close to amenities. Overall we had a great stay. Don’t hesitate to book here! "

"Great property for a short or long stay. The apartment is roomy and confortable. The grounds are gorgeous and you can walk to the very beautiful lake. Nice area, in Michigan, but very close to Elkhart, Indiana. We stayed here while our RV was in the shop. The hosts are wonderful people and they are what made our stay extra special. We would not hestitate to stay here again. "
