First, after checking in and paying the 100 dollar deposit (which still hasn't been refunded to our card and absolutely should be as we left that room cleaner than we got it) we went to our assigned room, opened the door and quickly realized someone was in the shower, and there was clothing on the dresser. The desk guy came up while my partner was going down to complain. Second room assigned was unoccupied however it supposed to be a jacuzzi suite, by this point we were just over it and needed sleep. Upon checkout we had cleaned the room, taking the garbage all the way out as well as sweeping floors and wiping down surfaces. My partner has previous employment in the hotel industry so we try to be extra nice to housekeeping staff. We asked when to expect deposit to be returned. The desk said "a day or two depending on your bank" we used his paypal card so its pretty notoriously quick. Three days after checking out, on a sunday we called the hotel and asked again. They said the deposit hold had been released and it should be back in the account by end of the day monday march 9th. 5pm est march 9th paypal support says theres been no "hold" and the transaction was not refunded.

When I first got there they are telling me I cannot bring guests to swim with me 2 people that’s it when we got in our room it was very dirty food in vents sticky stuff everywhere asked for cleaner They gave me oven cleaner last day there I’m trying to get breakfast and I get told I can’t bring food to my room or MY CAR then they proceeded to watch me close like I’m a child did not have a good stay here not what I expected would not recommend

We couldn't take a shower for a day or and a half. No cold water for the same period. Had issues with my employees stopping by to see me, even though they only stayed for hour. Was told that they looked and I quote" Noo Good" according to lady a front desk. There was no disturbance, just that they looked no good. Asked for sheets and, pillow and blanket for sofabed and it took until next day to get. I will not be returning to this hotel, aci should get a refund.

Affordable and Conveniently Located

The room had some mileage. It looked like the bathtub caulk was wearing out. The hot water didn't last very long. The toilet had a tendency to run because the internal tank hardware needs replacing. And the bathroom doorstop was a toe stubbing hazard (they really should've gone for the hinge door stop, given the room layout). That said, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was cozy and comfortable. If you just need a place to sleep while visiting Kalamazoo, it's a good choice.

As you exit the elevator and head to your room, there was a lingering smell of spice, weed, and urine. The room and bathroom reeked like urine. There was a mold growth ring inside the toilet. Existing drops of urine were visible in front of the toilet. It was disgusting! At this point, we didn’t want to change rooms as it was clear by the condition of the hotel, we weren’t going to get anything better and it was late in the evening. My husband just laid a couple of towels on the floor. Did notify guest services the next morning as we headed out to start our planned activities. They offered to go clean the room, but we rejected the offer. I explained, I booked/paid for the room and this should’ve been done prior. Plus, we were leaving and did not want people entering the room. We also saw non-guest members walk in and out asking to use the bathroom. This was confirmed by guest relations telling them they weren’t allowed to take beverages from the breakfast area. One night, there was a large crowd of people drinking and playing loud music in the parking lot that spilled over to the Enterprise across the street. The area does not feel safe. We will never stay here again.

Bad Choice for NHRA Weekend

Where to start...we happened to book this room on the same weekend as the NHRA auto show weekend. Made parking the first night tight, but with the hundreds of people that overtook the area Friday and Saturday night, actual hotel patrons could not access the hotel parking, and the crowd that had assembled just overran the whole area. We wore socks in our room that turn black on the bottoms after an hour or two due to the dirty carpeting. Bathtub shower VERY slippery, no hand assist bars - be careful! Whole property needs updating. Breakfast: so-so, powdered eggs and sausage or waffles every morning, no oatmeal. Fitness area was poor, treadmills unusable or non functional, carpeting filthy. Young lady at desk was sincerely apologetic, but thst's where the hospitality ended. Will be back to Kalamazoo, but will search for better accomodations.

It was a living nightmare. Cars burning out in the parking lot and bumping music super late, the pool was interesting, and the chairs in my room were stained. It also smelled funny.
