"Love embracing the culture away from the tourist traps. You don't really need a car. You can hire a taxi to get there and take the bus the rest of the time. Buses are reasonable only 3.30 euro from the town into the tourist cities. No need to look for parking in Rhodes or Lindos with the bus system. Bus station is maybe a 5- 8 minute walk. I will probably not rent a car next time. Rustic and what the locals live in. Loved the private patio. My daughter stayed up nights with the lights...

The connection by car to the west coast is fast. Details: the apartment can be easily found via google maps (house Thalia), which makes it easy to get there. The accommodation is located northwest of Rhodes somewhat inland. A checkin even after the time indicated on FeWo was possible without any problems. The host lives one house...

"The house was really nice and well appointed and the garden was lovely with lemon orange and grapefruit trees The surrounding area was very pretty with rocky hills at the side. We could watch the sunrise from the main bedroom or sit outside on nice comfortable chairs on the terrace. Gioyla was available by phone if we needed anything and left us some milk bread butter etc which was useful as we arrived during the evening. "Very comfortable house. It is a little away from the heart of the tourist throng which was great, but still only a few minutes walk to all of the attractions. Our host, Rosa, was wonderful. Extremely helpful and responded immediately to any questions. There is a delightful garden with 2 outdoor eating spots. Thoroughly recommend!"

"The apartment was perfect and the location could not have been better. Many choices of restaurants and taverns right outside the door. Locals were very friendly and area is serene and quite even with the restaurants close by. We hiked to the ruins shown in the pictures and it was spectacular. I will definately be back!"

"The apartment is superbly located above a quiet taverna in the heart of Stegna. It is clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Most impressive is the huge terrace with sun beds, parasols and a variety of sitting out options and fantastic views of the sea and beach. Probably the best terrace in Stegna, and the apartment is an excellent base for exploring Rhodes. Manuel manages the property very well and was on hand for any help/advice. We will return!"

"We chose the location of Malona because of its proximity to the quiet but pretty resort of Haraki. The house was perfect; extremely spacious with lots of appliances including a superb coffee machine and orange juicer. There was lots of storage in the house including wardrobe and drawer space in the bedroom. The pictures of the house do not do it justice as it is very difficult to get the impression of scale from them. On our arrival we were disappointed to discover that the wifi was not working...

"On arrival some dead plants in planters around front door. First impressions . On entering house there was a foisty smell. The place felt grubby re. Sofa covers and cushions looked like they could do with a good clean The kitchen area had a kettle with broken lid a coffee machine that was very old. The fridge light doesn’t work. The TV didn’t work at all could nt get anything ..when we contacted owner she said only Greek TV but we could nt even get that.. we went up to roof terrace to get a view...

"Place is perfect for family or couples self gathering. House has a/c, 2x bathrooms and 3x double beds, plus sofa bed also has TV and WiFi. Place is clean and comfortable. Also not far from the beach which is quite (not busy) and has restaurants. Owners are very friendly and helpful people, will help you with everything. There is local restaurant with lovely owners and locals. Food is home made, taste delicious and affordable prices. I would recommend this villa and I will book it for next time...

"Nice area with restaurants and a couple markets near. Old town is fun to explore as well as walking the boardwalk and around the city walls. Rhodes has a lot to offer. We rented a car for a day and drove the island exploring. The Aramis boutique house is cute! Convenient area of old town. The patio is a wonderful place to sit and relax. Maria is a kind and gracious host. The house was perfect for my family of five."

We met the owner’s mother and she was a very pleasant lady and nothing was too much trouble.She gave us oranges which made great juice drinks. Would definitely recommend the property to our friends."

"From start to finish everything was perfect . Free Wi-Fi, free safe and rooms cleaned everyday . Nothing was too much trouble . Mr Costas the owners elderly father in law insisted on taking us to Rhodes Town when we was having trouble getting a taxi . The cleaner was always bright and cheery and always stopped to ask if you was ok and needed anything . Plenty of quality sun beds with cushions. Towels also provided which was an added bonus . All in all PERFECT "

"Great hotel, pool fab and lots of sun beds around the pool. Bar food great. Basic breakfast but fine. Minimum staff but they are very helpful and efficient. Only annoying thing is the bedsheets….they don’t fit the beds well and pull away exposing the mattress…admittedly I move around a lot ! So this may not have helped. Air con great. Efficient and quiet… Would definitely return. "
